Poured this beer, it has a reddish color body with a thin head. The aroma has a sweet and some floral hints to it. The taste has a sweet, malt flavor to it. It also has some hop on the back of the tongue. The mouthfeel is smooth and overall it is good, nothing to over the top.

Poured from bottle into Pilsner Glass.

This appeared to be a clear red ale with a light head and light carbonation.

The smell had hints of orange/citrus and a dry red ale fragrance with hints of floral.

It tastes more fruity than a tradition red ale with a citrusy lemon/orange twist. It does leave a tart wheat after taste.

The feel on the mouth was light with an even amount of carbonation.

Overall this is a good to great ale with a nice alcohol% kick that rounds the experience. I will suggest this as tasty get-together drink that works well with chicken wings.

I really, REALLY like this beer. I took a few extra sips while rating it , just so I can taste it again. The taste, mouthfeel, smell is all in perfect ranges. I strongly suggest this to anyone. Even to a not often beer drinker. Blue Moon has once again lived up to their expectations. I got this in the sampler pack. I will have to find it in its own pack and purchase. The Hibiscus flavor is strong , in a good way.

Poured from 12oz bottle into 16oz mug.

Appearance: Clear amber coloration with a large off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves behind thick lace.

Smell: Very bready with hints of tart citrus and some grape.

Taste: Bready and grainy throughout, with some vinegary tartness in the background. A touch of spice toward the end. There are also some notes of grape, lemon, and maybe a touch of orange. None of the flavors truly seem to shine, though.

Mouthfeel: Lighter, very smooth body with not all that much carbonation and a somewhat slick finish.

Overall: Not a bad beer, but nothing too memorable either. This won't satisfy the average beer geek, but is definitely acceptable. I wouldn't seek this out, but this may be something I'd introduce if I were trying to bring someone onto the craft beer bandwagon.

This beer is a winner...whoever dunnit deserves a medal..You know what the problem here is...
TART, the sourness which lingers...was it Vinegar? It can't be Hibiscus!!!
Dear Blue Moon, please reduce that tart, make it like 1/10 of what it is now, and then thank me.
This is a world beater...I would have it any time of the year.
Btw, I created this account coz I think their flagship beer tastes like water compared to this...I am mad that I am getting my 12 packs only at one shop in the whole of 3 counties of the Bay area!!!!
Cheers for the 4th time...

A: Translucent dark brown with a mocha head.

S: Nose is faint with raspberry and maybe some wheat and a touch of fruity Belgian yeast esters.

T: Quite fruity, raspberry is definitely there. A touch of wheat, a touch of lemon.

M: Light bodied, not smooth, but far from harsh.

O: Pretty good, way underrated, as are many blue moon beers. Don't let the name or the rating discourage you. It's less than 2 dollars a bottle and well worth a try. Definitely recommended.
