Brown 12oz into shaker pint. Date printed on bottle smudged and illegible.

A: perfectly clear copper color as expected from a subsidiary of Coors. No head but a good amount of tiny bubbles forming a little splotch of white suds in the middle. Looks good, not special but good.

S: has that macro brew scent that pervades all macro beers even the specialty brands like shock top and blue moon. Otherwise has a pleasant caramel malt scent that reminds me of reds (which I love). An ever so slight hint of spice barely peeks through.

T: opens with a lackluster "beer flavor" that I described in the aroma section. Followed up by the flavors that match the malt scents described. Sweet caramel malt. Followed up with just enough hoppyness to balance and not leave you thinking you just drank soda. A finishing note of grain. Sort of lingers on the tongue and palate and battle between hops and sweet malts in a good way. The spices are completely lost to me flavor wise.

M: pretty run of the mill body, carbonated enough to not be heavy and thick enough to be medium bodied. I think they intentionally left it a little less bubbely than others to remind you that this a cool weather beer.

O: good, blue moon doesn't make bad beers really but never actually shines either. This is what one would expect from such a brewery.

Clear amber with about one finger of white head. No lacing to be seen.
Smell is light apple spice some herbal hops.
Taste is slightly tart apple with a touch of cinnamon. There is a bit of herbal hop bitterness in the finish. The Blue Moon character seems to be present in this entire variety pack.
Mouthfeel is slick and medium full. Carbonation level gives some pepper on the tongue.
Overall a tasty brew from Blue Moon. The spicing was actually pretty subtle. Tasty summer beer.

12-oz bottle into craft pub glass

A - 4+ fingers of cream-colored foam atop a transparent body of amber; moderate visible carbonation

S - cinnamon, sweet caramel, grain, apple cider, hop spice

T - lots of caramel malt sweetness, cinnamon, apple cider, spice and bitterness from the hops keep things balanced and interesting; balanced finish

M - slick light/medium body, medium carbonation

O - Not my favorite, but not bad. Decent for the style.

A: Dark bronze colored body that is very transparent. Dark burnt orange hues pop out through the glass revealing lots of carbonation bubbles rising to a large fluffy off-white head. It looks amazing. Minimal lacing despite a lush head.

S: I don't pick up any scent really. There's a faint spicy note of noble hop aroma but that's it. I hope it tastes better than it smells.

T: I get a lot of caramel malt flavor to the beer, along with some toasted flavor. Some sweet tasting apple flavor will pop up in the aftertaste from time to time, but it isn't obvious and I'm not entirely sure if I really taste it or my mind is playing tricks on me. The label says "Caramel Apple Spiced Ale" but all I get is the caramel.

M: The beer does have a good mouthfeel. The light toasted bitterness in the beer keeps it just interesting enough that I don't gulp it down like water. It feels about as thick as it should be, and the carbonation is right.

O: Overall I didn't really like the beer. I didn't get any spice, and I'm not completely convinced that I even really tasted apple in this beer. I wouldn't recommend it if you're buying it based on the packaging. On a side note my bottle says 8% which it hides very well. I'm not sure if the 5.8% displayed on BA is from an old version or what.
