My softball team decided to go out to the bar after we got destroyed, and the beer special was Coors Light. All I have to say is it is as bad as I remember it and was not worth the dollar we paid for them. I basically had one just to pretend I was not a snob, but boy did I fail, when I could barely drink it.

It pours very light in the glass with very little head and even less flavor and aroma. The only redeeming quality that it had was it was cold and wet (which are both wonderful after a ballgame).

If any of this undesirable shows up in your home, dump it down the drain or use it for something useful like boiling pasta, but do not drink.

Presentation: "The Silver Bullet" -- 24oz "grande" silver can with wide-mouth pour. Bottled on date located at the bottom of the can.

Appearance: A crystal clear, bright pale yellow liquid with not much of a head at all. In fact, it's nearly still.

Smell: Some very faint fruits, touch of sulfur and weak tea-like hop in the aroma.

Taste: Quite sweet, dextrin-like with an odd fruit punch and watery banana sweetness flavour that makes it difficult to believe that this is purely a malt beverage. Paired with a tight carbonation, there's a hop bitterness that follows. It's mildly lemon-like in character and creates a semi-puckering dry snap. Metallic flavours pull thru with a slight grain dryness towards the end. Both linger on the palate for sometime and intensifies, especially as the beer warms.

Notes: Why bother?

I'm guessing it wasn't fair to drink this after a Trappist Rochefort 10.

What more can you say about Coors Light other than it is one of the most bland, dull and boring beers ever made. Pale and bubbly like gingerale. No nose whatsoever....ok, maybe some corn and grainy notes. Taste is not only light and watery, it is also chalky and dry. The mouthfeel is bubbly and rough and the finish is dry.

This is a horrible beer. It is not even beer. Have it ice cold on a summer afternoon and it will go down like water. Less than a beer for the masses. A new low.

What do Coors Light and making love in a canoe have in common? They are both f'ing near water. Enough said.

Poured into a pint glass.

A: Very light blonde color with a hazy, carbonated look.

S: Smells like beer. Nothing unique stands out to give it any distinctness.

T: The taste of light beer. You have a hint of hops but with a light aftertaste. It is quite similar to Miller lite but taste a little more watery. Aftertaste doesn't stay with you too long.

M&D: It has a carbonated and thin feel to the mouth. A drinkable beer especially in the summer.

This is a beer I would drink for a light american lager.

Pours a crystal clear light, almost clear, yellow with a 1 inch fizzy white head that fades to nothing. No lacing at all. Smell is of grains and corn flakes. Taste is the same with the grains and corn flakes. There is a slightly metallic taste present as well. A high level of carbonation makes for a very crisp and clean mouthfeel. Overall, this is a below average but quite drinkable beer. Not too bad for what it is.

Appearance - This gave off a disappointing head and shown a dim, pissy yellow.

Smell - There's nothing offensive about this grain but really no meat to it at all. Granted this is a LL so is not going to bowl you over with a powerful nose, but I seriously can't smell anything coming out of the glass.

Taste - The flavor was a bit more on the mark. The grain showed a nice spark if maybe a bit on the stale side but overall this was not a bad taste.

Mouthfeel - This was behind the pack. The carbonation was cheap and fizzy like a wine cooler and the thinness of the beer left me wanting. The LLs are of course naturally thin but here the body was like a glass of water.

Sinkability - It has to be pretty damn hot and you gotta be pretty damn thirsty to want to drink twelve ounces of this stuff.

The old Silver Bullet. I love how Coors' entire marketing scheme is to drink their beer as cold as humanly possible. Of all the macros out there, this is probably one of the most flavorless. It taste like seltzer water with a few kernels of corn and grain dropped in. In essence, it almost takes like nothing, which actually ranks it above a few of the other big-time macro brews that taste like shit, especially when they get warm.

Pale straw color with a fizzly, nearly nonexistent head. Aroma: none. Taste: barely any. Mouth feel: pure carbon dioxide. I don't really think a beer can be much more vapid than this one. At least they have cool marketing schemes, like the mountains that turn blue, or the wide mouth can opening so you can pour this swill down your gullet even faster, right? ....RIGHT? There's no reason to ever buy this stuff (that can be said about a lot of beers, though), simple as that.

This beer is simple.

A- Light yellow of pale corn brewing standard.
Light carbanation and head.

S- Nothing other than some rice and small amount of malts.

T- Well...corn and slight rice... not very pleasing to a real beer drinker.

M- Not easy on the taste buds as it seems to be a sour feel.

D- Watered down beer can be consumed...RIGHT?

Drink only if its the only thing around.

Like the previous reviewer said, the only redeemable qualitly of this beer is it's poundablility. This has been a staple in the beer bongs of parties I have attended over the years, and after actually trying one for real I know why. No one in their right mind would want to drink this swill over all the other great beers out there right now. It pours a thin golden color with a thin white head. Has almost no smell other than carbonation and tastes like carbonated water. The only time I would conciter drinkind this would be if I really wanted to get drunk and it was free....on second thoutght, not even then. A horrible brew and even more proof that light=bad.

It's hot out... I'm on the beach and don't want to be hammered on a session beer of better quality. Don't be mad, it's still good to pay hommage to college... This is not a good beer though LOL.

So, I'm at my sister's house for a party. She told me to bring beer that I wanted, because she knows I'm a little picky. Otherwise, she had plenty of beer for others to drink. I bring a 12 pack of Sam"s Summer Selection ($9.99 at the local Hannaford's), and it promptly gets drunk by the partygoers. To make a long story short, this is how I came to drink Coors Light.
The beer is an insipid yellow color, with a head that disappears in seconds. It had a corn malt aroma and taste. A thoroughly unrewarding beer; I should have just drunk water.

12 onz amber bottle

Appearance is a very pale yellow with a small white head that goes away. There's just nothing in the smell even the smell can be "pale". To much water in this beer ,it cuts the flavor taste like water a lot. I do not recomend this beer to anyone, if you want to have macro lager this is not the one.

Well, it has some alcohol in it so it has something going for it.
That's about it.
I drink this when I visit my brother-in-law to be polite. He loves the stuff.
Watered down piss - and I'm being generous.
Now, to fill out my 250 characters:
If you pour it in a glass, you have piss in a glass.

as far as commercial light beers this one is superior at 5 carbs. Doesn't taste bad, either. It's my choice for the US commercial circuit. Still leaves something to be desired though, I believe it's hops.

Sadly, this is probably one of the four beers (along with Matt's Premium, Koch's Golden Annies, and Labatt's Blue) that I've consumed the most of in my life. Happily, 95% of the Coors Light I HAVE consumed was free, courtesy of my buddy with the stock car - a sponsor gave him 2 free cases a race. Based on that, I can say with authority that it's good for nothing.

I have no idea what it looks like in a glass, as I drink this baby straight from the can. Typical macrobrew "prickly" mouthfeel. The flavor is sort of beer like, but there's an undeniable "not malt" sweet flavor - corn? rice? hay? Duz? Lifebuoy? - that just screams "adjuncts!" They used hops in this beer? Can't find them. Quenches the thirst, and that's about it.

You can pound 'em all night long and still think you can drive, until the pre-hangover kicks in and causes oncoming headlights to feel like high intensity laser beams - just a prelude to how your head will feel in the morning if you choose to drink enough of it to finally achieve a solid buzz. But then, why else would you drink it?

tap the sewers? yuck this was bad. how can you mix a watery and a skunky taste? coors did it. like out of date water, thats been taken from the sewers of new york.worse than bud light because bud light tastes like bottled water, i would rather have bottled water than sewer water,

Has been my "Go-To" domestic beer for quite a few years. As long as the mountains are blue this beer will quench your thirst better than any of the other Macrobrew light options. Also, when Sam Eliot does the voiceover for you commercials you can't go wrong.

Presentation: Bottle with color-change label. It reminds me of color changing toys from my childhood.

Appearance: Clear yellow, no much real head.

Smell: Very little, sweet malty smell, hardly any hops.

Taste: Sweet malty with a little hops, lacks much in the way of taste

Feel: Easy to drink, malty-smooth, with decent carbonation. Nothing particularly interesting.

Drinkability: Easy to drink more than one of, if only because theres little flavor, bubbly slightly sweet.

to start, i can't stand light beers as most of them have proven to be just tripe.

bud light and coors light rank on my all time low list and will avoid them at all costs, this includes drinking girly drinks like bacardi coolers over this stuff...

A: light yellow with minimal head. the head vanishes about as fast as my expectations for this brew.

S: bit grainy and adjunct, cornish. doesnt smell like much

T: tasted like metalic cereal mixed with hints of soap, not impressed in the least.

M: very thin with a heap of fizz, really rather annoying. belched a heap after finishing it off.

D: because of very little taste and feel it will pass some what on a hot day if i'm about to die of lack of beer.

Pours a crystal-clear, very faint straw color. Almost colorless. Soda-like bubbles, producing a soda-like head that came and fizzled out rapidly to nothing. No lacing.
Smells of adjuncts, rice, faint grain odor. Taste is of very faint maltiness, next to nothing in hops, and an off taste in the finish. Extremely watery with crazy carbonation like a coca cola. If you arent looking to enjoy your brew and want to slam 20 of these out partying, then I guess they would be drinkable.

12 oz bottle. Poured with a big white fizzy head. I turned my back to throw away the bottle and it was gone. Very pale straw yellow and crystal clear. Very light grainy aroma and taste. The No sweetnes. No bitterness. Water thin. Livly carbonation. By far the worst of the major American Light beers.
