The Silver Bullet...another macro beer. I don't care for any of the "light" macro beers in particular, so I'll drink them all and talk about it. However, I did get my beer drinking start on this one, so I'm a little partial to it.
A - Almost transparent yellow color, very little head even after an aggressive pour into a mug.
S - Really nothing at all. A little grain and maybe a hint of hop and bread, nothing much.
T - This is why I got my beer start on this. I goes down like water, really doesn't taste like much at all. There is a slight bread note in there, but if this beer is cold at all it just tastes like cold carbonated water.
M - Clean and crisp. Perfect for mowing the yard or working outside in the heat.
O - It's the Silver Bullet. Ditka endorses it, so there's something to it I guess. Like the other mass-markets, good for parties, tailgating, college, or whenever offered for free.

Appearance: Straw yellow with virtually no head. The head dissapears rapidly with very little lacing. There isn't enough carbonation.
Smell: Faint malt, sweet corn
Taste: Very little taste, sweet corn at the end.
Mouthfeel: good carbonation, watery
This is an excellent thirst quencher, pretty boring, and in desperate need of some type of head.

Normally I wouldn't review a beer like this scince it is so common that almost everyone who drinks beer has tried it at some point. The only reason I am doing it is to see how it compares to Batch-19 witch is a Adjunct lager also made by Miller/Coors.
Taken from notes written 6 days ago.
Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Stella Artois chalice.
A- A super light honey yellow. This is an incredibly clear beer. Upon pouring into a glass a white, light yet incredibly frothy head appears and then dissipates right away, leaving an incredibly thin/barley noticeable ring of bubbles around the edges of the glass. Although this is an incredibly clear beer there are very few bubbels visible rising to the top and the ones that are there are very sparse and spaced apart.
S- The aroma is just slightly hoppy and is somewhat skunky. One could even describe the smell as being sour or tart. This is truly the average aroma of "beer". It's what many a bar or house party end up smelling like by the end of the night. The aroma is very crisp and even smells a bit like pears. Although this is a light lager there is a scent of alcohol.
T- Slightly bready and somewhat sour. While finishing with a slightly sweet/fruity taste. There is a very slight alcohol taste to this beer. The hop and malt flavors are incredibly equal and balanced. The flavor is a little reminiscent of pears or sourdough bread.
M- Very smooth, light bodied, light/medium carbonation. Very crisp.
O- This beer is better than I remember it being, however scince I have started to drink craft beer I have begun to lose my taste for this style of beer in general. A very well balanced and stable beer.
