A 450ml aluminium bottle with a BB of June 2012. ABV is stated as 4.5%. Picked up cheap from a nearby off-licence. Brewed in the UK by Molson-Coors at Burton-on-Trent.

Poured into a straight pint glass. A crystal-clear pale straw colour with plentiful carbonation. Forms a large head of brilliant white foam that lasts for a minute or two before dissipating. Aroma - what aroma? There really is nothing there, just a whisper of light malt and stewed hops.

Tastes of hardly anything. Faint light malt and stewed hops, with hints of corn and overcooked veg. Slightly sweet. Mouthfeel is crisp, light and watery, with prickly carbonation. A little dry. Not much aftertaste.

Piss. So bland it might as well be water. There's nothing technically wrong with this, but it's still one of the worst beers I've ever reviewed. So lacking in character that it sullies the very concept of beer. Vile - save money, drink H2O!

18 oz bottle poured into a pilsner glass at fridge temperature.

L - Pale straw (bordering on clear) color with a 2.5-finger fizzy white head that dissipates quickly with no sign of lacing. A good amount of bubbles but less than I was expecting.

S - Grainy and corn aromas jump out. There’s maybe a tiny hint of floral hops but it’s mostly that adjunct light lager smell that everyone knows.

T - Very watery. A little bit of grain and corn come out at the finish, but this should hardly be able to be called a beer.

F - Very light-bodied with tons of fizzy carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel and finish. Refreshing, but again, this is hardly beer. Another reviewer said it best - it’s like seltzer water.

O - I don’t have anything against adjunct lagers. They have a time and place. However, this one just doesn’t do it for me. There’s almost nothing here to even review. It’s like water in every category - even the color. One thing that saves it from being a straight 1 is that it’s so much like water that it’s completely inoffensive. There’s nothing “bad” here, but that’s just because there’s nothing here at all.

A: Extremely light yellow; pale and supper bubbly; a fairly decent foamy head with okay lacing

S: Lots of tart grains--mostly just stale grains but some faint citrus; not horrible but quite one-dimensional and a touch soapy

T: Light and grainy with not a ton of flavor--that's the goal I guess; nothing too offensive but nothing much more than water and musty, generic grains

F: A bit thin and over-carbonated but I've had worse feeling beer

O: It is what it is: nothing too offensive but just rather blah
