12oz. bottle: Bought this at noon on a Sunday in Bay City, TX at a gas station: best thing in the store. It pours a clear amber color. There was a small off-white head on it that didn’t linger long or leave much lacing. The aroma isn’t too bad. Malts, a little grainy and earthy. It isn’t great, but really doesn’t taste too bad. A bit of caramel malt sweetness, a little grainy and just a touch of grassy hops. It’ll do in a pinch.

12-oz bottle into New Belgium globe

A - 3 fingers off-white head over a transparent body of amber; moderate carbonation visible

S - honey sweetness, toast, grassy hops

T - adjunct grains (kind of corny); honey sweetness; toasted malts; touch of grassy bitterness; grainy taste sticks around for a dry, grainy finish

M - chewy medium body, medium/high carbonation, smooth

O - The smooth lager feel is very pleasant, but nothing else really stands out.

A: A light copper color with excellent clarity and a persistent white head. The head settles to a thin film and a ring of bubbles but never goes away.

S: A medium aroma of spicy and earthy hops with a moderate toasty malt aroma.

T: The taste matches the nose with a medium-low earthy and spice hops flavor a medium hops bitterness and a medium-low malt sweetness giving it a moderately bitter balance. The malt has a nice Vienna malt toastiness to it. the finish is off-dry with a quick aftertaste of hops.

M: A creamy medium bodied beer with a medium-strong level of carbonation.

O: An good example of my favorite lager styles with good hops and malt character.

A: The beer is clear amber yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with finger high light beige head that has good retention properties and consistently left a thin head covering the surface along with some lacing down the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of toasted malts and bits of sweetness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a bit thin on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes less maltier and a little watered down when compared to other beers in the style, but is easy to drink and doesn't have any "off" flavors.
