Poured from a bottle, drank from a pint glass.
Appearance: Pretty medium to dark amber colour, with an appetizing orange/red. Head is not super thick, and dissipates quicker than I would have hoped. Little visible carbonation
Smell: Sugary malts and hops abound. A slight sour characteristic, definitely in a good way. Slightly toasty, biscuity Vienna malt. Some subtle fruity esters, but mostly sweet hops.
Taste: The sweet but slightly toasty Vienna malt is quite apparent here, and is balanced by some bittering hops. Pretty basic considering what this style can be, so it loses points here. Still tasty overall though.
Mouthfeel: Leaves a sweet, almost cloyingly malty aftertaste, which isn't the best. About the right level of carbonation (low to moderate). No booziness.
Overall: Nothing to write home about, but if it was between this and domestic American adjunct lagers, I would take this every time with a grin on my face. Its pretty light, easy to drink, and doesn't really offend. Unfortunately it doesn't impress or stand out either, so I wouldn't seek this out.
