A- it pours a clear gold, big ole head of foam, some lacing left behind.

S- grainy, kind of a flowery bitter hoppy aroma, hints of spice.

T- yeast, grainy, with what I think is an undesirable bitterness that doesn't remind of a true Belgian Pale Ale at all.

M- good enough mouthfeel here.

O- a somewhat flavourful brew; to bad that I enjoy what it brings to the table.

Pours to a half inch head that falls to a thin layer of foam that is permanent. Color is light amber-gold. Aroma is spicy, floral, orange zest and caramel. Flavor is caramel malt, citrus and herbal notes with a dry finish. Mouthfeel is decent with moderate CO2. Overall, this Belgian Pale Ale is spicy, tangy but the flavors build up on the tongue and begin to annoy after a while. I suppose paired with the right food it would be better. To drink it for the sake of drinking beer, I'll pass.

A - Poured deep amber with thick white head that leaves lots of lacing. Lots of carbonation bubbles on my Boddington's pint glass. Looks like soda with a really thick head.

S - Sharp citrus bite, some wheat freshness, an open field like smell. Some hints of spice, nothing too special.

T - Some great flavors here. Some malty bitterness, a little wheat, then some huge citrus upfront with some hop bite. A little buttery biscuit on the end. Pleasant.

M - Thin and watery, a little character here and there.

O - Never really been a big fan of Blue Moon, although I do appreciate their ambitiousness lately. This beer is mere steps from being a great beer, and things only get better with age and practice right?

Clear amber with one finger of white head that leaves quickly. Spots of lacing.
Bready toasted malts with a hint of earthy hops.
Taste is rich earthy hops with a good amount of malts, A bit of funk from the yeast.
Mouthfeel is medium full with plenty of carbonation. The finish is mildly bitter and semi dry.
Overall a tasty if somewhat mundane version of this style. Slick and smooth and quite refreshing.

A: Medium bronze color with a fluffy white head. The beer is very clear and looks great. Spotty lacing.

S: It smells like Pine Sol. Really it reminds me of the cleaner more than actual pine trees. I don't get anything else from it.

T: I get a light caramel and toast flavor. It has a nice grain flavor to it. There's a mellow earthy flavor in there. The bitterness is extremely low. Hop flavor is also extremely low, giving only a hint of pine resin. I don't pick up any Belgian yeast flavor either. I don't know how it can fall so flat after smelling so bold.

M: The mouthfeel is good in respect to the smoothness of the beer while leaving it dry in the mouth, but it severely lacks any bite from hop bitterness.

O: This beer just isn't there. It's like a Belgo Pale on training wheels or something. From just tasting the beer I can tell that the right ingredients are in there, but just not enough of them! It's like a runner that takes the time to train for a marathon but only puts out 50% at the race. You know it's in there somewhere but....aaah! I would not recommend wasting your time on this beer.
