Had to go back and try this nostalgic beer. Not as good as I remember like a lot of beers from those days happen to be. Nonetheless, it was a great stepping stone from bud to Guinness which eventually after a few more steps lead to better beers and a better palate.
Appearance: Bright reddish amber, clear
Smell: Not much to this...
The rest: Simple malt flavor with toasted grain, not much of it though and it's a bit thin. It has its place but it IS going to stay in my past.
