Appearance - Pours crystal clear amber with an off-white finger head. Fair retention.
Smell - Bready, with sweet caramel notes.
Taste - Moderate caramel sweetness to start before a strong grainy character hits mid-taste and throughout. Touches on honey that builds toward the finish, becoming near cloying in sweetness, as hops are virtually nowhere to be found.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body, with low to moderate carbonation. Maltiness shows in the body. Goes done easy enough.
Overall - Drinkable, but not necessarily enjoyable. Nothing I'd care to drink again unless my options were severely limited.
