The amber you’ve always wanted. Crisp and clean, but full of flavor: milk caramel, toasted biscuit, and sweet wheat. A medium-bodied brew that has character yet remains an all-game drinker that always satisfies, never disappoints, and plays well with many types of food.

I bought this off a single shelf at a grocery store outside of Milwaukee whilst there for a hockey tournaments. It poured a clear amber with no head and no lace. The scent had hints of caramel malt. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent beer.

Pours amber. Short, bubbly, off white head that fades immediately.

M-A little oily. Smooth.
O-A very well balanced amber in another very cool bottle from Karben. Will be visiting the brewery soon.

Smooth caramel color with 90% opacity. Head is popcorn colored and starts at a finger, moving to a solid thin ring.
Aromas of jammy fruits, some cornbread, and bread crusts. Slight esters.
Flavor is super complex and has several layers. It starts with bread and blood orange, moving to some pithy flavors, and finally to roasted caramel malts. Jam and fruit float in and out - plum, raspberry, blackberry. Some melon too. Light martini onion. Just really, really complex.
Feel is medium bodied, well carbonated, with some thickness throughout. The feel on the finish is nothing short of fantastic. It's succulent.
Karben4 has done some great work here. I'm not a huge fan of amber ales, but if YOU ARE, you owe it to yourself to try one of the best Ambers on the planet.
