SamuRye pours a hazy bronze color with a small lacing head. There is a nice rye and hoppy aroma. There is a nice rye flavor, with harsh hop notes malty backbone, rather balanced.. Nice body, but watery overall. Overall its a nice beer, tastes good but is just weak.

Pours amber in color with some good copper hues and a great frothy one finger head that has great retention.
Smell is great. Lots of grainy malt forward with note of rye, toasted bready malt, and more grainy rye that fades into light hints of herbal and somewhat floral hop aromas.
Taste is very well balanced. Both hops and malt are forward and compliment each other nicely. Hops start with some light herbal bitterness which is followed by a rich husky grainy malt with a slight rye bite that is not overdone by anymeans and adds a great spice to the finish.
Mouthfeel is good. Medium to light body with high fluffy carbonation gives this a soft smooth feel that is highly drinkable and refreshing.
Overall this was a good rye pale ale, a little on the lighter end but some good flavors and aromas.

Sampled at the brewery as part of a flight. This was my favorite of the lineup. Pours a clear gold with soapy white head and heavy lace. Nose starts with onslaught of aromatic hops. Nice notes of amarillo bring pine, lemon, and some tropical notes to the aroma. Hints of rye add some spice to the already fruity hop notes. Taste is well balanced with plenty of pine hops and some resinous notes as well. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing. Overall, a solid brew from an up and coming brewery!

Picked up a growler of this at the recently opened brew pub.
A - pours an amberish orange color, more orange than amber, with a soft white head that leaves some nice lacing down the side
S - nose is full of fruity hops (they describe it as fruit loops, which seems pretty apt) - orange, lemon, spicy grass and a lot of sweet malts taboot.
T - starts off sweet with some caramel malts and a little bready. This moves on to a wallop of hops, really fruity with grapefruit and lemon standing out. Some of the rye adds a spiciness toward the backend of the tongue.
M - despite being in a growler, the carbonation has held up nicely - solid medium body as well
D - overall this is a killer rye india-esque pale ale from Karben4. I wish I had a chance to try some of their other beers because this one was fantastic!
