Decent but underwhelming kolsch. Grain bill highlighted in the aroma and taste. Mildly sweet malt presence drives this light summer quaff. Overall is a lighter brew for a hot summer day, but lacks the full body and flavor of the Cologne varieties Nice try!

On-tap @ the brewery in Meridian ID. Served in a tall, thin fluted glass.
A: Slightly hazy straw/gold with white head and a decent amount of lace for the style.
S: Light bready malt backbone, a fair amount of Noble hop character and grassiness, some fruity esters from the yeast as well.
T: Right in light with the nose, clean body with a good dose of malt breadiness and a bit of sweetness, grassy hop bitterness balances ever so slightly.
MF: Thinner, clean mouthfeel, light bodied with good carbonation for the style.
O: Style doesn't do much for me but this beer drinks fine. A good one to convert light BMC drinkers to craft, and just enough malt & hop presence to let you know its not fizzy yellow beer.

Stopped in at the brewery tonight for the first time and picked up 2x growler fills... The taproom and brewery both look first rate (some serious coin has been invested)... I am impressed with my first impression.... Now on to the beer.
Pours a very hazy light golden.. Hazy for the style, but who cares really? Nice white head with okay retention and surprisingly good lacing... Sorry, I'm gonna knock it for clarity issues.
Nose is pretty good.. soft pale malts.. maybe some pear esters.. a very light hoppiness.. pretty damn proper in the aroma department.
Flavor is about dead on too... very well rounded and balanced across the board.. pale malt and light handed hop addition.. just enough bitterness.. Very very very drinkable.
Light medium body with a light carbonation..

Waaay impressed with this one. Very surprised for such a new brewery.
Clarity... should be close to sparkling... Is there wheat/wheat malt? I would guess so. The haze and the nice soft malt profile makes me think so.
