The beer pours a nice bubbly white foam that dissipates quickly but still leaves a bit afterwards. The beer itself is a clear pale gold. The beer smell is primarily dominated by bready yeast smell and light grassy hop smell. The yeast is the stronger smell of the two but the hops complements it well. The beer flavor is different than the smell. The hops is grassy but with lemon notes. The yeast is still bready. The flavor also has a bit of honey sweetness that dulls the hops a bit in addition to a bit of alcohol. The mouthfeel is fairly smooth with biting carbonation with a slightly dry finish. Overall, a pretty good beer and worth getting.

The beer comes in a golden orange color.
The aroma has lots of spiciness, orange, lemon, banana.
The flavor follows with the fruit and citrus in the front, and then this wonderful honey sweetness. The same Belgian yeast character as the Trillium saison. The sweetness leaves the beer with a bit less bitterness, but still some drying.
A dangerously drinkable beer and quite well done.

A - Pours a slightly hazy golden straw color into an over-sized wine glass. The large wine glass nicely shows off the slow moving visible carbonation and captures a couple fingers of head at the narrowing mouth of the glass. Small patches of lacing dot the glass.
S - Nothing too exciting here. Subtle blend of aromas that typically make up a Belgian strong pale ale. Mix of vague funkiness, breadiness, and slight sweetness.
T - Nice evolution of flavors here. Starts off with a candy sweetness and transfers into a mild bitterness. This is where you pick up the yeasty characteristics of the beer also. The sweetness returns on the finish. The alcohol is hidden remarkably well and it truly is a dangerously drinkable beer.
M - Medium-bodied, but it doesn't really support the flavors that well. It also has something of a refreshing finish, and I think if it were a bit dryer the flavors would have a greater impact.
O - This is pretty close to being a really good beer for me, but a mix of the finish and sweetness make this something I'd probably shy away from in the future. I preferred the eponymous farmhouse ale from these guys.

Pours a translucent orange-gold with a loose, off-white head that dissipates into a slick. Nose expresses Belgian yeast, a hint of candi sugar and a light, herbal quality. Taste - all I can say is wow! In my opinion, an exemplar of what a BSPA should taste like. Flavors are consistent with the aromas in the nose; however there's a bit more of an herbal presence here. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a pleasant, lively carbonation. Overall, a solid representation of the style with a very well-hidden abv. Well worth your time if you enjoy the style. It's hard to believe it's produced domestically.

Appearance - a beautiful shade of translucent gold; one inch head that eventually diminished to limited but graceful lacing.
Smell - smells clean and fresh
Taste - a great triple taste, strong Belgian yeast
Mouthfeel - chewy and full - very satisfying
Overall - really love this beer - they said it's a "one-off" but this one could gain a really popular following if produced with some regularity...!!
