The bear pours some bubbly white head that dissipates quickly but still leaves a little bit of film. The beer is a nice orange color that has hints of brown around it but is fairly hazy. The smell has a strong orange hop smell to it and a nice citrus smell as well. Additionally, the smell has a straw smell from the yeast that makes the hop smell slightly perfume like. The taste is very similar to the smell but with other notes. The orange and grassy tastes are still there but it has a slight sweet malty note that takes the edge off of the hop notes. Additionally, the straw taste is also there. The beer feel is fairly smooth with biting carbonation. Overall, the dry stack batch series is one Trillium's consistently best ones. (734 characters)

Orange, light amber color with tinge of white from the cloudiness. Excellent ring lace after each sip. Small head that settles to rim bubbles.

Leans to the hoppy side with a fresh white pepper nose. Good pale malt base with a slight sourness. There's also just a touch of malt sugar.

First bitter then sour--a Classic IPA Saison presence. The malt is soft and has a tart orange element. The hop is stronger but not too biting. There's also a bit of berry sweetness. Moderate body with a low level of bubbles. (512 characters)

A-Hazy yellowish orange color. Well built head of white froth. The head remains throughout my pint and leaves several rings of lacing.

S-A Saison/IPA hybrid. Tropical hoppiness - specifically pineapples. More hops in the way of grass. Spicy yeast as well. A pleasant mixture of styles.

T-Well hopped. Pineapple, grass, and tangerines come to mind in terms of the hoppiness. Also, the flavor is enhanced by a rather rich yeastiness. Peppery notes, spice and bubblegum flavors come into plays as well. Pale and grainy maltiness, too.

M-Medium bodied with a lingering finish. Very drinkable. Softer carbonation, which I enjoy.

O/D-This is the second Dry Stack I have had and both were very tasty. I love the meshing of two awesome styles. A hoppy Saison to say the least. (772 characters)

A - hazy dark gold color, great white fluffy head that settles down to a thin top coat, beautiful lacing

S - always one of the nicest things about a fresh Trillium growler - the smell hits you first during the pour although I can't really describe it other than "grassy and fresh"

T - very tasty, nice dry hoppy bitterness that that lingers, not sweet or yeasty like a tripel

M - medium mouthfeel, very refreshing; makes you want to keep tasting it after you've swallowed

O - I'm a big Trillium fan and think this is a solid offering - no real criticism other than I would prefer a little less bitterness (608 characters)
