Brewed in appreciation of The Publick House, a craft beer mecca in Brookline, MA where close friends and warm hospitality welcome us time after time. The Publick House IPA features Citra, Centennial, and Columbus hops with an aroma bursting with fresh orange juice and under-ripe peach along with notes of toasted malt. The flavor profile is more bitter than our “Street” IPAs, but with a toasted, bready malt character to balance. Bitter grapefruit flavors emerge with mild pine on the finish.
MALT: American 2-row Barley, White Wheat, Flaked Wheat,C-15, C-60, Dextrine, Dextrose
HOPS: Citra, Centennial, Columbus

Look - this is THICK and very lush looking.
Smell - maybe its strong suit. Rounded off grapefruit?
Taste - similar to the smell.
Feel - thinner than you might expect from the look but about right.
Overall - comments about extreme bitterness seem off base. Stop drinking old hops! This is wonderfully balanced.

Opaque (not hazy) tea-honey color with a creamy head of 1/2 finger.
Aromas of vanilla, oranges, grapefruit, lemon, and pilsner malt.
Flavor is very rindy and bitter - very opposite of many Trillium offerings. Lots of red grapefruit rind and lemon rind, then hop resin, pine, pepper, grass, and more resin. Slight orange gummy bear aftertaste.
Feel likewise is resiny and residual, lots of good carb, spritzy finish.
Overall, not my favorite Trillium, but it's a stray from the norm so if you're curious about Trillium but wary of the juice bombs, try this one out.
