Our Belgian Strong Ale aged in oak barrels and fermented with our native New England yeast culture. Appearance is opaque reddish-brown with mahogany lining and fast fading off-tan head. Wild Sinister Kid emits aromatics of dark fruit, tart berries, leather, and vanilla. This dark, funky strong ale displays complex flavors of sour cherry, toffee, fig, dates, and molasses; finishes dry with light to medium body.
MALT: Pilsner, Abbey, Special B, Carafa III, Belgian Candi Syrup, Turbinado Sugar
HOPS: US Goldings

No head, decent legs, dark murky molasses brown color.
Nose sour metallic black malts, weird lacto sour creamy funk, lots of buttery oak, sweet sticky cola with bitter tannins.
Taste brings more sweet molasses candy syrup cola, soured though, little funk, sticky sour flemmy funk, tangy metallic, dark malt thing, yeasty, little buttery oak. Finish flemmy bitter sticky acidic cola and acrid thing, nasty lingering taste.
Mouth med bod slimy sticky little acidity, decent carb.
Overall pretty bad, a huge clash of a bunch of flavours that just linger and all taste pretty bad together.

11/03/14 bottling date.
A: Pours a dark reddish-brown. Tall frothy light brown head. Great head retention with a nice island of foam. Substantial lacing all over the glass too.
S: Mildly tart berries mainly. Strong lemony sourness too.
T: Whew. Strong one. Lots of citrus sourness backed by overripe berries everywhere. Mild berry sweetness but mainly lots of funky, tart notes. Mild alcoholic sting in the finish.
M: Medium bodied, not nearly heavy enough for 11% it seems.
O: All berry and citrus tartness, sourness and loads of funk. Mild booziness but the sourness is the whole story here. Hard to drink, makes you cringe at every sip.
