This iteration of Dialed In is a fresh, juicy Double IPA intensively dry hopped with Galaxy and Citra. Pouring a vibrant, hazy gold; aromas of white wine, tropical fruit, and citrus swirl around the nose. Upfront flavors of grassy hop, orange juice, and pineapple coincide with vinous notes from the mid-fermentation addition of Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer juice. Soft and creamy with moderate bitterness; Medium-Light bodied with a crisp, dry finish.
MALT: Pilsner, C-15, Flaked Wheat, Dextrine
HOPS: Galaxy, Citra, Columbus

Canned 17 days ago.
L -- Hazy muted orange body with a half finger of sudsy off-white head produced with moderately aerated pour. Very minimal retention or lacing, looks almost still after a minute
S -- White grape, green onion, orange blossom, yellow grapefruit
T -- Kumquat, fresh grass, mild cattiness, grape skin, kiwi, orange rind
F -- Lightly astringent and trending dry. Light woodsy bitterness on the finish. Medium- carb, medium mouthfeel
O -- Not sure if Citra works so well with the grape juice added during fermentation. I thought the Nelson and El Dorado-hopped versions were quite a bit better (but maybe it's just a batch-specific thing)

Traded for this a while ago, as the date on the bottom of the can read 1/31/17. Never had any iteration of Dialed In before but I would easily want to give them a go after having this. Quite possibly the smoothest beer that I've ever had from Trillium, this was such a winner and enjoyable in every way!
The pour to this was good but not impressive as the liquid was a muted peach with a standard head that faded a bit faster than I would have liked. Only a few sports of lingering bubbles that resembled morse code remained on the side of my pint glass as the lacing was nearly nonexistent. Lots of peach, stone fruit, and juice in the muted nose but the taste took all of those notes to another level. Throw in white wine and that German Juice that I can't pronounce and mix in a creamy mouthfeel, underlying sherbet sweetness, and the softest touch on the palate and the end result was a beer that was quite difficult to keep in my pint glass! On par with the best from Other Half, Interboro, Greenpoint, and SingleCut, this was one of the best brews that I've ever had from New England as the dryness was in the taste and not the mouthfeel...
This had the booze hidden quite nicely too, as I only felt a bit of warming by the time I finished it off. No sediment could be seen in the liquid and the malt gave it body without being too overt as the Dextrine was the most noticeable of the 4 that were present. Consider me dialed in to this version of dialed-in- it's as smooth and enjoyable as anything Trillium has ever put out!
