The nose is absolutely fantastic. Hay, flowers in a field, stone fruits, and much more from what seems like Brett or at least a very interesting saison yeast. Finish is nice and dry while the carb is perfect. This is one of the best farmhouse ales I've had quite frankly. It's slightly more interesting and drier than a well aged Blvd Saison Brett. Really impressive beer.

Like a band that self-titles their album, this brewery self-titled their beer, I really hope this lives up to it. Esp since I love a good farmhouse saison and can be quite critical.
Over carbonated pours 3 fingers of head and only 2 fingers of beer and forces a small pour, fades semi slowly too with splotty lacing bubbles, although a mostly clear lemony straw yellow color.
Nose is pretty nice though, a nice farmhouse aroma without a big funk, nice grassy aromas, straw like, fair lemony aromas, lemongrass, effervescent and pretty floral, mild appley fruit and tree fruits, a bit of a yeasty funk, and some decent grassy floral hops in there but not a lot, some mild esters, hints of phenols as well, and a bit of a grainy toasted malt like.
Taste brings nice grainy malts out front, lots of toasted malts, straw, a little toasted wheat like, straw malts, mild husky with a little syrupy like sweetness, and fairly grassy as well. A mild lemony cereal grain like touch in there, with a mild saison funk, farmhouse yeast flavors, even a touch of the yeast itself, with a mild funk note, some phenols that increase as it warms, cereal flavors, lemongrass, etc. A mild grassy floral hop note, with touch of lemon and citrus like notes, and mild to fair bitterness. Finish is dry, a little sticky note, more lemony flavors, mild farmhouse yeast lingering, more grassy floral hops lingering with mild bitterness, bit of straw and grainy malts lingering. The phenols get a little hot as it warms a bit more but still pretty nice, and starts to get more farmhouse funky like, and more like I wanted from it. Interesting...
Mouth is med to lighter bod, fluffy effervescent carb.
Overall not bad, nice farmhouse saison, not big funky but nice grainy wheaty toasty straw malt base with little dry bready yeasty funk and some lemony notes, little floral citrus hops, and effervescent carb. Tasty, fairly drinkable and enjoyable, although not as funky as I want in a typical saison but still nice as not all saisons can be crazy funk.
