A-Pours a cloudy golden color. Nice, tall head with mild lacing. Body glows.

S-Semi-soft on the nose. Mild yeast and butter. Some lingering hoppy notes too. Underlying sweetness with a hint of yeast-imparted fruitiness.

T-A well balanced Farmhouse Ale that isn't scared of the hops. Grassy hoppiness. Just as important is the crisp mixture of airy malt and Belgian yeast.

M-Rather light. Easy drinking. Moderate carbonation.

O/D-Their flagship beer is a well built brew that showcases it's three main ingredients. I really enjoy how the hops and yeast both complement and contrast one another.

Appearance: 1/3 inch head, medium-high carbonation, gold in color, clear

Smell: sour apple apple, grass, and hay

Taste: sour apple apple, grass, Belgian spices, and hay

Mouthfeel: sweet start with funkiness and mild bitterness, light bodied and medium-high carbonation

Overall: A good saison. Very clean and it hits all of what I expect from the style. Well crafted and enough to keep me curious about this brewery.

32 oz growler, poured into a tulip glass.

A -- pale straw color. White head, thin. Good lacing, and retention. Clear with good nucleation.

N -- Banana yeast. Clove/spiciness. Something sweet. Can't put my finger on it.

T -- Follows the nose. Hoppier than a normal saison with a decent level of bitterness.

M -- Bubbly...

O -- Quite good. Enjoyed my first experience at Trillium today for my sister's birthday.

Cheers.
