I am lucky enough to be in very close proximity to the Trillium Brewery and have started to grab growlers on a pretty regular basis. When I do, I always make sure to grab one of these. This is probably the best pale ale I have ever had. Blows you away with a lot of hops and citrus flavors, but never bitter. If you can try this beer you will not be disappointed, world class.

A) Light golden with a nice head (second pour gave a better head). Some lacing left behind. Beautifully hazy!
S) Hops, sweet hops. Slight piny notes and a bit of citrus/tropical fruits.
T) Goes hand in hand with smell. Exactly what I was expecting. Delicious.
M) Very nicely carbonated. Overall great mouthfeel.
O) One of the best APA's I've had in a long time. Very balanced and refreshing. Will definitely be grabbing this again in the future.

Poured into a Funky Buddha Brewery snifter. Sticker on bottle says 091214.

A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/2 inch of-white head that retains well before becoming a thin ring around the edge of the glass and a small center patch of surface foam. Bubbly snowflake pattern of lacing sticks to the glass.

S- Sweet hop aroma with the bready malt working as a perfect template for the citrusy, grassy hops to play off of. Amarillo hops?

T- Flavor is not nearly as hoppy or bitter as the aroma would lead you to believe. The malt comes through more with its sweetness and more bread notes as the hops work as more of a balancing agent. Very tasty stuff. So drinkable, yet so flavorful.

M- Somewhat oily from the hops with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.

O- Such a unique beer that somehow exhibits the best of both worlds in hoppy beers as it is sweet and earthy as well as citrusy and dank. Remarkable.
