Came here on the recommendation of Momar42. Thanks, Shaun!

This is apparently a fairly new place in the tri-county area, so of course I had to come here. :D It's a moderately well organized store - the shelves on the left carry the wine, while the shelves on the right carry the beer. The first thing noticed are the racks of single bottles; heading further down the store will lead you to the cooler filled with full 6 packs.

The selection is somewhere in between the "lucky to find everyday off-the-shelf stuff" barrenness of St. Mary's County, MD (where I live) and the more impressive "yes, you can find limited release stuff here" selection of NOVA/DC. It's MD, so you know what to expect - Troegs, New Belgium, Sam Adams, Weyerbacher, Stone, Uinta, Flying Fish, Dogfish Head, 21st Amendment, Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn, Flying Dog, the usuals basically. The import selection is pretty typical, as well (Ayinger, Weihenstephaner, Samuel Smith, etc.) and the new arrival of Ballast Point is always a welcome sight. They did carry some Victory at Sea and Brooklyn Black OPS a while back, but they were all gone when I visited - still, you might just get lucky with something harder to find here.

Prices vary somewhat. If you buy by the 4/6 pack, you'll find that their prices are a bit steep if not truly terrible. If you buy by the single, you'll find how reasonable it is to make a mixed pack (or two, or three...) The man at the counter was quite friendly and personable, also.

Finally, for any SOMD beer geeks out there - yes, they had Sculpin, for about $15 a 6 pack. But sadly, they didn't have singles of it (plus Sculpin is kind of overrated IMO; but that's another can of worms entirely), either.

I'm DEFINITELY coming back here in the future.
