Valiant Brewing is located in an industrial area of Orange. It's not easy to find. I had to stop and confirm with my iPhone. It's inside a series of buildings that you enter from Batavia Street through an alley.
The day I visited which was a random visit since I was in the area, they were releasing their Orange Slice Sour. I bought a bottle and had a glass of their Sour Cherry Stout. The production area, seating area, and taps are kinda all comingled together with a large flatscreen on the wall. The guys behind the bar were fast, friendly and efficient to deal with the bottle release.
No food, but they did have a food truck parked at the entrance.
Cool place to hang out and have beers with friends.

I visited Valiant the other day while in town for a convention and I think the place is awesome. They had 24 taps available when I was there, with a wide selection of styles (sours, saisons, IPAs, everything). I went with a taster tray and there were no missteps at all; I would love to be able to go back and sample more. The taproom is basically inside the brewery and there is a huge list on the wall of what's brewing in each fermentation vessel and brite tank, something I totally love. My server was very knowledgeable about all the beer and friendly to boot.
In short, I can't recommend Valiant enough, and I'm already looking forward to my trip to the OC next year so that I can hit Valiant again.

This brewery sits in an industrial area in Orange. The tap room is located right next to the warehouse. I stopped by to pick up a few bottles, limited seating, but the cashier was really cool and very helpful. Picked up two bottles and their imperial stout is amazing. They did not have too many taps and not a very big selection. Next time I will probably have to try a few beers before I leave.

The beer is tucked away in an industrial park, it's a bit hard to discern its location from the street. Once inside there's a tasting area, adjacent to the brewing area. There's a huge number of in-house beers on tap and there are occasionally food trucks on hand to provide food. The service is pretty fast and the selection is solid.

At times, their selection can be lacking, but at other times it can be overwhelming. They make very good beer and everyone that works there are really nice and helpful. Come while a Ducks game is on and you get $1 off pours... pretty awesome.

The CA-57 corridor is once again housing another brewery. Enter Valiant Brewing, which has had its doors open for six months, yet had to receive a visit from me despite my proximity. Part of an industrial complex and a bit tricky to find since it's not visible from Batavia, Valiant prides themselves as "your ale specialists". Indeed, each of the 13 beers pouring from tap were ales (bitter, dunkelweizen, IPA, Double IPA, Trappist Ale, barrel aged Blonde, Imperial Red among them), much of them in the experimental and high alcohol category. More importantly were the two beers which I tried being of high quality. Beers are served via pint, goblet, or 8 ounce snifter. The bitter was priced at just $4.50, though some of its strong ales top $6.50 for 8 ounces. Flights are available, as are 1 and 2 liter growlers for take away.
Service was spot on and a little extra. I didn't even need to leave my seat to order a second beer, as the multi-tasking cashier was quick to realize my need for a full glass of beer.
The one con I could think of was the atmosphere, which was not nearly as polished as nearby Old Orange or The Bruery. At least the furniture is new and comfortable.
My first visit leaves me excited for future visits and future tastings.

Valiant's tasting room is your typical industrial brewery setup, with a few stools and tables set among brewing kettles, barrels, and other equipment. Of course, the brewery itself is hidden away in the back of some random industrial office park, as all breweries seem to be around here. It reminded me a bit of Green Flash's setup except smaller-scale. You can kind of tell that it's a work in progress, but it works well enough.
The beer lineup was quite interesting - 12 different and unique beers including a barrel-aged Belgian pale, a trappist-style Belgian dark ale, an imperial coffee porter, and an imperial black saison. Valiant doesn't shy away from producing unusual takes on the usual beer styles, which makes the selection at the brewery definitely worth checking out. The barrel-aged beer was a little intense, but pretty much everything else I had was stellar.
They don't have food, but they offer a 5-beer flight for $7.50 which is pretty cool. When I was there the main brewer / founder was there hanging out and chatting up the customers - he went into depth on a few aspects of their brewing as well as the physical setup, pretty interesting guy to talk to.
Valiant's tasting room is a great place to relax and taste a few delicious brews. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing a few friends.

Typical industrial style garage format, size was medium to large. 10 or so bar style tables and a small bar/ordering area.
7-9 beers were available I believe. I got the sampler which had all their beers. They were good to great, some hit the mark huge like their Jericho and their saison which the names escape me.
The bartenders were quite friendly and helpful, would have loved to stay longer but we had other stops planned. I could definitely see myself staying here a little longer if time allowed.

Relatively unknown for now, yet I have a feeling this brewery is going to go places! It has a great variety of beers, 10 so far, ranging from a 3.6% Premium Bitter, to a 8.5 Biere de Garde all the way to a 13.7% Strong Ale!
Very Clean, good music, better beer.
Oh and its super hard to find which pretty much solidifies my opinion that its a great brewery.
