This seems to be the anchor store in a mid sized suburban shopping area. Large box with high ceilings sort of place...wine, booze, all sorts of snacks, cheese, meats, mixers, bar supplies and most interestingly a huge load of beer options...they have what you are looking for.....full walls of cooler units along the left side as you enter and along the rear wall...also a walk in area of the coolers (in the rear corner) that houses the special, super fresh, extra local, extra dank kinda stuff.....impressive and vast options abound...add an informative, helpful and friendly staff and it all adds up to a quite worthy and well worth visiting destination...don't miss it if you are in the Boulder area.

A huge, cavernous place.
Nevertheless, a phenomenal beer selection. Big section of beers from Colorado, many beers from other states, and many European beers.
Friendly, helpful staff.

Great prices likely due to the volume. Selection was impressive, but only 50 percent refrigerated. I can't really rate the service as no one helped me and I didn't ask, but I did overhear someone getting some good help. Worth a visit.

Best store in Boulder for beer, wine, & liquor (they even carry cigars). They have an incredible selection & a helpful & friendly staff... & a rewards program too. What more could you want?

Amazing Amazing Amazing! Everyone I talked to in the store was great, and definitely a shout out to Derek! He was able to secure me a keg for a party and really saved the day for us.
If you are in the Boulder area or traveling to Estes, stop here and load up. They are the best we've found in CO!

Stopped in because I heard they are new. Impressive selection, nice single and bomber sections. I have to say though nothing too rare, and no service. The single selection is all cold which is a nice touch, but the prices seem really high even with a 25% discount if you buy a mix-6. Seems like they jacked the prices up 50% and gave you a false perception. The overall selection is worth it, and a great store, but there are better stores and prices in the area.

Really great liquor/beer store. Airplane themed. Big ol mix-six cooler with a pretty wide selection of craft, imports and seasonals. Equally impressive bomber selection. Fairly average prices, perhaps a bit lower. It's in Boulder, so that's a strike, but overall it remains the only reason I'd go to Boulder. Good store.

On selection alone, this place gets five stars; the craft beer selection (yeah, that's all I ever look at) is obscene.
On prices though, I gotta call foul. Single beers here sell at an offensive mark-up and that's just downright disrespectful.
The bomber prices seemed about right, but after seeing the prices for single beers, this place had struck a raw nerve with me.
Shop wisely, my friends.

It seems Hazel's has all the bases covered: huge selection, good prices, above-average service and a well-kept building. The 3/4 size F4U Corsair hanging from the ceiling is a bit kitschy, but it drives the store's airplane theme home.
I'll get my pet peeve out of the way first. There's an awful lot of beer sitting out at room temp. That's a shame, because they have a dedicated walk-in Beer Cellar of sorts in the fridge with lots of free space. Moving the rest of the beer in there might be a good idea, don't you think?
Selection is excellent, with a lot of limited-release beers on hand. The build your own six-pack options are also quite nice. If you're in the mood for something other than beer, you won't be disappointed.
The big brands of beer and liquor do get a disproportionate amount of shelf space, but they don't kick the little guys out to make room for them.
Service from the plentiful staff is above average.

A new stop in Boulder, and another large liquor store in Colorado.
This one has a WWII Army Air force theme to it, with a P-52 (?) hanging from the ceiling. Cool
Nicer floor than other large store that just have bare concrete.
Large wine selection, humidor and liquor variety. Still a bit new, so some things look bare.
The walk in cooler is sparse and big, seemingly any ways.
Beer selection is pretty nice. Domestic and Import labels along the walls. Nice warm bomber selection. Mix and match area. Place is big, clean and somewhat more personal than other large stores. Still, the service is average. Don't expect help, but there's alway someone there to ask.
