A 330ml bottle with a BB of June 2013. Picked up a little while back from Trembling Madness in York (they should consider making this their signature beer). The label describes it as a UK version of a West Coast IPA, containing a ton of hops for maximum impact. The screen printed bottle is cool, though I reckon they owe a hat tip to Stone....

Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. A hazy amber hue with fine sediment and medium carbonation. Produces a large head of frothy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patchy surface layer. Aroma of intense hop notes: grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, melon, white grape, mild pine and tropical fruits. This is underpinned by a backbone of sweet caramel malt and earthy yeast. Hopulicious!

Tastes of fruity hops with a powerful bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, peel, lime, pine resin, melon, mild tropical fruit, caramel malt, earthy yeast and stewed hops. Highly attenuated and intensely juicy. A strident bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is dry, smooth, spicy and tingly, with good body. Some carbonation but could be more effervescent. Very astringent, with an aftertaste of intensely bitter aromatic hops, mild yeast and a hint of malt.

Impressive and delicious - a hophead's delight. A tsunami of fruity hops in the aroma and flavour; the malt comes through but definitely plays second fiddle. Decent body but increased carbonation would give it more texture. A solid effort - this young brewery clearly knows what it's doing. If you love hops then don't pass up an opportunity to try this. (1,582 characters)

Damn this is good. Pours amber with minimal head. Smells very unique. Light citrus and candy with a hint of yeast. Taste is light but potent. Lots of hops balanced perfectly with the malt and an excellent yeast presence. Citrusy with a touch of pepper. Very light mouthfeel with a slowly dissipating linger in the back of the tongue. (333 characters)

Cloudy goldenrod with athletic lumpy parchment froth that's steady.
Tangerine, pineapple and papaya nose - fresh.
Apricot biscuit with agro lemon oil hops, a mineral tang, then melon and lots of clean pine.
Spearmint and lime sorbet finish and powdery bitter linger.
Light with just a hint of medium, oily, frothy.

Wow - I let this one hang around but it doesn't seem to have slowed down at all. Not much to get in the way of a gracefully delivered rabbit punch of west coast hops. Just enough malt to balance, fizz lifts the hops, nice viscosity - technically accomplished all around. Truly a DIPA in the mould of Hop Wallop, in spite of the low end ABV.

Wild continue to intrigue. (688 characters)

I bought a bottle in Mexico expecting a really hoppy experience with a high IBU score but was deeply disappointed when I opened the bottle and it was excessively carbonated, it took me a good five minutes to be able to drink it.
The flavors are there but the bubbles made it quite hard to taste the final product. (314 characters)

330ml bottle at The Local Pub.

Apperance: Amber-golden colour with a dense white foam that sticked around at about 1 finger, like forever! Had to leave for a little something, came back at the pub about 40 minutes later, foam was still there waving at me!!

Smell: Aroma was intense and insane, with pine, orange, some notes of peach, pineapple. I could just smell it for hours, never wanted it to end!! the bottle still has that smell, and it's already been a day!

Taste: Taste was the same as smell, insanely refreshing pine notes, with a lot of grass in the aftertaste, which got stuck to my taste buds. I was literally drinking very small sips so that I could drink it for hours.

Mouthfeel: Body was light to medium with lively carbonation.

Overal: An extremely drinkable IPA I wish i could drink again right now!!! (824 characters)
