This is stop #1 of 14 brewpubs for my wife and I on this one week vacation and pub crawl. Located along a busy commercial street there is some parking to one side of the building and a little in the rear. There is a restaurant side and a bar side to this place, and the food menu is available also in the bar. We stopped here for dinner and to try their beers.

There were 8 beers on tap, and a sampler flight holds 5 choices so we selected the ones that we thought we would like best. We then added on a sixth beer that sounded too good to pass up. We liked all of them, but felt that the Wit'er Park Belgian Wit had just a bit too much spices added for our tastes. The Trucks & Trains Pale Ale was the most notable. Overall we gave the beers a grade of B in our scoring process.

The food here was excellent, and I'd tend to look at this place as a restaurant that serves beer more than it being a brewpub. The vibe on the bar side was very nice, maybe mostly because the brewing equipment is visible through a window at the rear of the bar area. There is also a full bar and wine is available too.

This place has terrific food if you are in the area. You might want to try their sister restaurant down the street called The Ravenous Pig. It is excellent. The beer selection at both restaurants is limited, but they do always have a few good beers. They do brew their own beers and most have been ok. Nothing terrific or exciting. I would recommend this place for the food and then just have a couple beers to wash it down.
