From notes.

Sample poured at the brewery, from a six-beer sample package of six approx. 4oz pours that cost me $10. According to the info at the brewery, this beer is 6.7% abv and was 87 IBUs.

Orangey-amber color, with a modest amount of haziness. Decent off-white head that left a fair amount of lace on the sides of the glass.

Very citrusy in the nose, but not to the point where it seemed like fermented fruit juice. There were also some piney notes and a little bit of sweet malt aroma, but it was chiefly the citrusy hop aromas that stood out. According to one of the owners who happened to be behind the bar, this is hopped initially with Columbus and Cascade hops, then dry-hopped with Simcoe. Whatever the recipe, it smelled really good.

Citrusy hop notes hit the tastebud beachhead first, along with an undercurrent of more piney notes. There was a modest malty backbone that kept things in the drinkable realm but otherwise didn't make much of a fuss.

Medium bodied, with a resiny, oily mouthfeel.

A very good west coast IPA from a brewery that primarily makes Belgian-style beers, which I think says a lot about their overall skill at brewing beer. If you aren't into Belgians but like a good IPA, fear not - they've got one for you.
