First time seeing Flesk beers on the shelves.
Pours into a tulip glass with a billowing soapy head of white foam, a cluster of larger loose bubbles on the surface. Decent coverage, quite a bit of sudsy clusters and lace in the glass. Bright clarity, golden orange color with a few stray trails of rising bubbles.
Slightly fruity aroma, yeast driven, somewhat mild and fresh.
Very smooth feel, dry florals and a very gentle hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Soft wheat and a fruity plum note from the yeast. Light bodied with a medium carb level, easy drinking. Kind of reminds me of some of the more unique euro pales with the floral hop and fruity yeast character. Subtlety is the name of the game here, and the execution is unique overall. Not a hop forward APWA, so don't expect Gumballhead, it stands tall on it's own.
Somewhere down the line I hope they put this in tallboy cans... maybe by next summer?

I poured aggressively into a nonic pint glass and formed a one finger creamy white head with moderate retention and light lacing. Feral Cat’s color is straw in hue, with a slight haze that just barely makes it difficult to see through. Little to no sediment left on the bottom of the bottle, natural filtration looks to be a strong suit for the O’Brien brothers. Immediate aromas of bubble gum shined, just like Bazooka. Sweet wheat, fresh grass, mild honey, peach, honeydew, and cantaloupe notes also graced my nose. Citrus bitterness immediately takes form in the mouth, staying throughout the finish. Midway, melon sweetness trickles in, accented by grassy esters. Finish is zesty and bitter, drying out the fruity sweetness. Refreshing is an understatement.
