A: Strolled in on a Sunday afternoon w/ lordkrytstic, libbey to follow and beerandcycling managed to pop in as well. About 15 to 20 people when we arrived. A nice cozy spot situated downtown Puyallup, highlighted by a neon blue overhang/signage. Pretty nice, open, lrage and inviting place on the inside. A pool table upfront by the door with old school arcades mixed in. A nice bigscreen above the main bar to keep you entertained. Some good beer chatter amongst patrons, just really laid back.
Q: No bad beer here. All lines seemed to be clean and the beers our table had arrived free from issues
S: Not bad. Despite it all we never really waited for beers. Nice, prompt and on the money. The brewer was on had to answer any super duper beer questions the staff could not answer.
S: Well done. About seven house handles with the rest being a conservative but well planned taplist which meets the demands for the local clients and the uber beer geeks.
F: No try.
As a visitor of the Powerhouse for years this is what Puyallup needed oh so desperately. A real taproom. A damn good one at that! I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area and their house beer aint to shabby either!
