This is another RINO gem offering up about 15 excellent draft crafts. Located across from the Blake Station Transit Center, BSB has a hipster feel to it: small, dark and cozy with 60's music playing. There is a decent selection of IPAs, along with some delicious pizza. The bar was rather small, but the service was quick and efficient. Most definitely, worth a visit.

Cool vibe with local rock art on the walls you can purchase. Bartender was nice, and they had a large beer selection. Nothing outstanding but a bunch of solid beers and some interesting stuff. Worth stopping by after CS and GD.

Server was super nice. They just had their 3 year anniversary so there was lots of goodies on tap. Most of the beers I sampled are run of the mill. The Blood Orange DIPA was excellent.

been meaning to check this place out for a long time, not sure why its taken me this long, but finally made it in. what a cool spot, lots of neat art and music themed stuff going on, and a pretty substantial brewing operation in a really hip building. outside seating in the front and the back, and live music all the time from what i gather. all red beers here, thats their thing, and i like the idea. there was a huge range of different styles, from red saison to red porter to red rye to red double ipa, all very interesting and all quite different from one another despite the common starting point. the pale red rye and the black double ipa were my two favorites, but all the beer was very good. service was awesome, friendly and informative, and more than happy to share samples, even pull samples from the back to taste. they are proud of their craft here, and they have every reason to be. a very comfortable place to relax, and some challenging beers to drink as well. what more can you ask for?

They are a hop killer brewery, but that's ok, because they do hoppy right. The place is completely uptight and frufru. I do not feel very welcome because they are never open and their attitude feels like, they are better than every one else and we are lucky to drink from their golden teet. But if you can tolerate pretentious places better than i do, i would definitely recommend you give the place a try. To be honest i might have just gotten the wrong server.

A-I visited on a snowy Sunday afternoon and the vibe was very, very mellow; just me and a few other small parties were there. The location is sort-of off the beaten path to the north of the hip RiNo area of town. Out front is a medium sized patio and inside is small to medium front room and small bar with eight stools. Signs suggested a beer garden out back, but I did not venture out. There is some thought to the design of this place. It has a coherent feel and is definitely one step up from the typical industrial conversion.
Ser-The bartender was quick (as he should have been, since it was so slow), friendly, and knowledgeable about the beers he was pouring. I had taster glasses that arrived with just a bit of head (nice) and at proper (not too cold) temperature.
Sel-BSB had eight beers on tap when I visited. On offer were four porters (three imperials and one normal strength), as well as some hoppy, lighter flavors. The beers were seasonally appropriate, but I have to say that the "red beer" theme may be starting to wear a little thin on me. You can also buy growlers, bottles, and cans for take-away.
Q-I tried a selection of the imperial porters and was happy with each. Nothing blew my mind, but the Kahlua-infused version was somewhat different and pretty tasty. Apparently it was brewed/blended in honor the Big Lebowski, which BSB was showing that night. The hoppy beers I tried were decent, but not spectacular.
V-Prices were on the higher side of average.
O-I like the space and the beers have potential. I will be coming back.

A: Visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was appropriately lively. I felt they had a nice setup. Didn't really notice it was a converted gas station.
Q: The beers were good but only the Red Porter rose above the others.
S: The bartenders were helpful and gave some insight into the beers.
Sel: Fist time there so I did the sampler. Had everything on tap which was 5 or 6.
O: Enjoyed my visit, ultimately it's all about the beer. With so many options in town you are going to gravitate to the beer that stands out.
