Happened to be in the area so went here based on the reviews. As stated they serve only Texas beer (about 10 on tap) as well as some bottle variety, they also have a variety of Texas liquors and wines to try. Bartenders were more then willing to give sample or recommendations. Food was good and the locals were welcoming

This place is my definition of a gem. Tucked away in a strip mall on Preston just south of the Bush, it's not exactly a happening location. The restaurant and bar is small--far wider than it is deep, but serviceable. The reason this joint is worth a look is that they've made the decision to serve only Texas beer. They have about 10 on draft at any given time with new beers coming on almost nightly. The good news is that there's always something local to try--Four Corners, DEBC, Lakewood, etc... The bad news is that if you're a style fan, there may be only one Pale Ale on (or worse, like on one of my trips--no IPA's at all).
The food is above average too--lots of specials based on the chef/owner's whims. All the standard menu options I've tried are above average and I will boldly claim that they have the best hummus I've tried (and I try a LOT of hummus). My last trip also revealed the best pizza I've ever had--a special with spicy alfredo, shrimp, artichoke hearts and a bit of spinach. Phenomenal.
Give it a shot, Metroplex BA's.

not much to look out from the outside. location is in a small strip mall of of Preston. Inside is sort or beer hall.gastropub theme with small 10-12 seat bar, some bif round tables and some booths. Semi-eclectic menu on the face of it but when you really look at it in whole really diverse offerings that should appeal to anyone.
2 of us sampled, pizza and burgers and much say all were good to awesome, pizza was top notch and fries were good but maybe just a touch more seasonsings would have made them memorable.
Beer is where the place shines in my eyes. Only Texas breweries on draft which was really cool. Really seemed to concentrate on the DFW metroplex breweries but extended out just a bit.
Just a really cool place to have lunch a few beers. Few non-obtrusive TVs if you want to catch some sports. Fell like this place will do well.
