A "best bitter" usually denotes something a little weaker than this, so hats off to Mr Robinson for selling a product that actually lives up to the name for once.

I just had a very nice lunchtime session comprising 4 pints of this beer, it's clear, hoppy, tasty and refreshing. No bad points at all. Reccommended.

Pours a bright copper colour, with off-white creamy head that subsides relatively quickly. Aroma is of powerful hops and bready tones, as well as oranges and lemons. Taste is yeasty and bready, almost white flour, with plums, apricots, oranges and limes. Mouthfeel is good and thebeer goes down well, making it ideal for a session.

On-Cask in London, pub forgotten!

Rusty chestnut with pumpkin highlights. Light head of rocky tan foam. Aromas are of fruits, golding hops, and nice bready malts. Taste is a awesome blend of the above. Fresh hops balance out biscuity malts and the finish is nice and smoooth. Mouthfeel is creamy, but a bit light, drinkability remains immense.
