While not technically flawed, just nothing going on here. Very muted flavor.

Best new to me beer I’ve had in ages. And it’s nice to take a break from IPAs. This one has everything you need. Except more in my fridge.

Tried this fresh from the brewery. Pours a highly carbonated, copper color with 2 inch soapy off-white head with moderate amount of lacing. Faint malty nose, not much going on here. Some piney hops up front with a bready malt character on the back of the palate. Very balanced and smooth enjoyable ale, reminds me of a German Octoberfest/marzen style beer even though they were going for a American Amber style.

Tried this at The White Dog Cafe in Portland, CT. Came in a pint glass with about an inch and a quarter of head leaving behind substantial and soapy lacing. The color was copper and it was opaque for the most part. Subtle aroma slightly bready. The taste was diluted and slightly metallic. But overall a good ale.

Poured bit cloudy in glass, with dark Amber color. Minimal 1 mm head which dissipated quickly. Starts thick caramel hoppy. Leaves slightly bitter after taste like of tobacco.

A: crystal clear; amber colored; 1 finger off white head that receded to a thick collar; thick lacing;
S: caramel malt with some hops in the background;
T: caramel malt from start to finish; mild bitterness builds from mid-palate to the finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation;
O: I like the touch of bitterness at the end;

This is my go to CT Ale when I'm not in a Hoppy mood! Clean , tasty, and refreshing.

Not a memorable ale for me. Clean amber color, caramel-like smell. Slightly malty flavor with an unfortunate bitterness I wasn't expecting.

Amber in color. Fairly clear in appearance. Caramel malt profile. Some bitterness. A bit earthy. Kind of tastes like a worse Sam Lager. I guess if you're looking for a less flavorful beer, you could do worse.

Bottle poured into fluted snifter.
Copper color, clear, thin white foam head.
Caramel and toffee aroma, slight perceivable citrus zest.
Malty flavor, sweet, caramel, toffee, toasted malts, bit of hop bitterness balances sweetness a bit,
Moderate carbonation and medium body.
Not a bad beer, I think the low reviews are looking for a pale ale, this isn't listed as a pale ale. If you're a malt fan or fan of British ales, this may be up your alley.
