A dark copper-brown color with a proper off-white layer of suds lining the top and leaving a nice trail of lacing. The aroma offers vinegar malt and brown sugar with leafy hop edges. Not bad for the style. The flavor follows the introductory smell with tart apple cider vinegar and caramel brown bread with a grassy hop bite. It's medium bodied at best and sports a lively, tingly carbonation that keeps the feel pretty peppery. Not bad.

While not technically flawed, just nothing going on here. Very muted flavor.

Appearance - Dark copper color, poured with about 1/2 inch head, dissipated relatively quickly.

Smell - A bit of a bread-y nose, perhaps even a bit of smokiness.

Taste - Malty up front, slightly sweet, maybe even a little bit smokey up front, finishes nicely on the back end with the slightest hop kick. Well balanced flavor.

Mouthfeel - Great carbonation, relatively light body, but doesn't feel thin at all.

Overall - A solid offering I would definitely purchase again. I've heard great things about their IPAs, and hope to try them in a bottle or can in the near future.

The best Connecticut-based beet I've tasted.

Pours a straw golden color with an off white head that fizzes pretty quickly and trails the glass as you drink. The smell had some sweetness from the malt like toasted bread with what smelled like mild spices. The flavor was very good with some malt, a little bit of spice like clove, and then a mild hop finish which was pretty refreshing. The only thing I didn't care for was I thought it was a bit thin. Overall I would definitely try again.

A: Hues of ruby-red, copper, orange. lacing quickly disappears

S: malt and bread. Honey?

T: nice, smooth malts to start, hop bite i subtle. Bread almost on the end

M: medium bodied

O: I could drink this beer for days. It's really approachable. Not intense, just classic to the style.

Straight from the tap with the nice crew at the brewery

Appearance has a light red color with very little head

Smells of slight fruitiness like pineapple and orange but I get malt and toasted bread notes too

Taste is smooth with perfect carbonation, malt and bread notes shining but not too aggressive. A beer I would want to be drinking on a 75 degree day in the sun and I look forward to bottles or cans coming
