FIFTY TAPS! Lots of craft selections, no taps of crap (Miller Lite). Breweries represented included Deschutes, Bells, Third Street, Boulder, Odell, New Belgium, Lucette, Brooklyn, Lagunitas, Summit, Breckenridge, Rogue, Wasatch, Flying Dog, Tyranena, Two Brothers, Dark Horse, Schells, Rush River, Sierra Nevada, Founders, Left Hand, Southern Tier and Victory. Many imperials and doubles. Bottled list included Tallgrass and Surly.

Food menu very limited at this point. Bar opened only in November 2012, so they're still getting established. But located very conveniently downtown, within walking distance of some fine restaurants and Mayo Clinic buildings. Santé tapas restaurant is next door, and you are invited to bring food in to enjoy with your beer. Very attractive new space, with large windows, exposed brick and volume ceilings.

The tap house has 50 craft beers on tap, some of which are mainstays but the majority change on a bi-weekly basis. The tap house also gets all the good hard to find brews such as Darkness, Black Note, BCBS, KBS, etc. Great atmosphere and a good patio for summer nights. One downside is there really isnt a food menu, its more snack food such as bruschetta, seasoned pretzels etc. Otherwise this place is top notch!

Initially thought this place was a bit pretentious and overpriced but I think the novelty wore off for "in" crowd and now it seems to be a bit more laidback.
The service varies and taps are always changing. A bit pricey for some things, nothing cheaper than $5, but very reasonable on some other things that you aren't going to find anywhere else in town. $10 for Darkness is absurd when Whistle Binkie's had it for $5, $7 for 12 oz. Pumpking when you could walk around the corner and get it for $5/16 0z., you get the idea.

All of that said, glad we have a place like this in Rochester

By far the best place in the area to get beer from. The selection is easily tops, and features over 20 taps, at least double that in bottles. Downstairs is a little tight, but they do have an upstairs area. One of the nights however the whole was blocked off for an event, so the place was even tighter. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Stop by Sontes for dinner and visit hear for drinks, dessert and conversation!

They list 50 taps, with a downstairs bar featuring 45-50 and an upstairs bar with fewer selections but they will run downstairs pours upstairs for you.

Friendly staff, owners seem to be active around the place but never met them. The website is kept up to date and the tap selection is exclusively American craft. Bottle selection features an occasional non-American selection (Kwak and the like) and a paucity of sour/wild/funky selections. However, the atmosphere is nice, with a strong 'can be noisy' vibe that doesn't detract from a mostly moderate crowd enjoying good friends with good drink.

Food menu is small but tasty. In warmer months there are brick-oven pizzas available and the bar is ok with outside food, just ask the bartender. They do import some additional selections from other local restaurants and the lack of 'bar food' seems to keep away the typical 'bar crowd' which is not a detriment, speaking subjectively.

The only craft bar I've found here with the added bonus of event like Bells Tap Takeover providing some additional treats at a moderate price.
