Served in a teku.
The down the middle pour results in a finger's width of white, puffy foam. A copper, clear body looks the part of a well made beer.
The nose explodes with sweet tropical fruits and honey. The candied orange, papaya, and berry scents are so enticing! There is a slight fusel quality buried under everything, with an herbal tinge.
The palate mimics the nose well, all the way through to the finish. The berry notes are even more apparent if anything. The bitterness in the finish sneaks up slowly. The beer is predominantly sweet on the palate from the tropical fruit hoppiness and caramel-like malts.
This Community offering has a nice medium-bodied heft with a creamy and slightly drying finish.
Mosaic is a heck of an IPA! The berry, tropical fruitiness of this beer is astounding. If you like your IPA's sweet, then this one will do the trick.

Poured into a snifter from a 12 ounce bottle.
It's got a dark amber body with perfect clarity and a few occasional carbonation bubbles visible. The head is frothy and lasts a while before leaving traces of lace. 4.25
Hints of citrus and tropical fruit on the nose, but it's not as big or aggressive as other IPAs I've had lately. There's resinous hop aroma, sweet caramel and toffee, and a touch of booze. 4.0
Not too much varies from nose to tongue, as it's still got a good fruity profile with citrus and maybe passionfruit. There's still a good malty element providing sweet caramel flavor. 4
It's smooth, mellow, medium-bodied and finishing with a quick bitter bite. The sweetness is also understated but with a bit of creaminess makes for a dessert-like quality. There's no sign of booze to be found. 4.25
This is a sleeper. I hadn't heard much of it before but I won't soon forget it. 4

Appearance: cloudy and golden, something like raw honey. A thin head persists, along with some good lacing.
Smell: not too aggressive on the nose. I'm getting more of a yeast smell than anything.
Taste: the first thing that comes to mind is juicy. Citrusy hops dominate, and any bitterness is offset by the body and flavor of the residual yeast.
Mouthfeel: rounded, smooth and full-bodied
Overall: a nice unfiltered IPA that's low on bitterness and high on fruit-flavored hops. Very pleasant. Definitely would order again.

Bottle (no date unfortunately) poured into my teku...
A - Dark orange in color, hard pour but half finger head is gone instantly with a nice sticky lace
S - Orange zest, pez candy, lemon/lime, grassy
T - Tropical fruits, starburst, caramel with a slightly malty finish. Really awesome balance
M - Light body, buttery smooth, mild carbonation
O - Received this as an extra in a trade and sure glad I did. Really needs a bottle date though. Although the appearance and muted aroma were a disappointment, this beer has a spectacular balance between fruits and malts with a nice bite and a great mouth. Highly quaffable and a solid showcasing of mosaic hops, well done!
