Appearance - murky brown body with khaki head
Smell - peanut shell, caramel, whole grains
Taste - caramel, nuts, bran, whole wheat bread
Mouthfeel - medium body, medium carbonation, slightest of sweetness, flavors are strong enough to not disappoint
Overall - this was a good version of a Munich Dunkel Lager
Price Point - $3.99/ 500ML bottle

500ml bottle poured into pint glass.
A - A cloudy dark brown with a thin head that lasted for less than a minute.
S - Not pleasant. Rancid grapes and other dark fruit. Not a wine fan and this is what it reminded me of. A bit of hop action.
T - Very disappointed. Tasted a lot of the wine aspects mentioned earlier. Was sour and dank. Did not like.
F - Ok. Nothing special, nothing bad. Very little carbonation but was crisp in a good way.
O - Was a drain pourer. Didn't improve as temperature rose. Overall, simply didn't like the sourness. Tasted as much like wine to me as beer. Not sure if this is normal for an organic beer. Either way, will not purchase again.

500mL poured into a pint glasss
Pours murky brown amber. Very little of a white head. This beer reminds me of a doppelbock mixed with an oktoberfest. The beer has massive caramel qualities and flavors that dominate the tongue. The beer has a nice dark fruit presence as well. There is a dark grain presence in this beer that is again, all toffee and caramel. The feel of this beer is velvety smooth and quite creamy. There is a slight tart fruit flavor in this beer as well. Overall, its a nice old fashioned German brew.

1 pint .9 fl oz brown glass bottle with standard pressure cap served into a Uinta pilsner glass in me gaff in low altitude Los Feliz, California. Reviewed live. Expectations are above average given its current ratings. Cost was $3.99. Acquired at a bottle shop near San Diego. I think it was KnB wines.
Served straight from the refrigerator. Poured with standard vigor as no carbonation issues are anticipated.
A: Pours a one finger khaki colour head of nice cream, nice thickness, and good retention. Colour is a pale translucent brown - very strange. Nontransparent. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show. Not very appealing.
Sm: Nuts, cream, biscuit malt, sugars, and caramel. A light aroma.
T: Caramel dominates. Some nuts. Varied mid-range malts. Some amber and biscuit. Nicely balanced, albeit simple. I like it, but it's hardly impressive. Not special or unique. It's got some nice flavour. Hardly any subtlety or layering.
Mf: A bit overcarbonated. Smooth and wet, suiting the flavour nicely. A bit too thick. Too heavy on the palate for the lack of flavours.
Dr: Drinkable and enjoyable, but far from exemplary. I wouldn't get it again. Boring for the style, but definitely on the upper end of those I've tried. A bit pricey by German standards.

Clear brown colored beer with no real head formation.
Smell strongly of grain and toasted bread with a slight fig aroma. Mild noble hop scent with saffron and lemon scents.
Starts out mildly sweet and malty for a lager. Toasted grains with a little nut and molasses flavor. Nice smooth beer hop adds a little grass taste and a little lemon.
Mouthfeel is full for a lager.
Overall a pleasant easy to drink beer that I could see drinking almost anytime.
