22 oz bottle from Roth’s Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem $4.99 Pours a clear hazelnut colour with a small frothy off white head. That goes after a few minutes but leaves a lot of lace down the glass. Well balanced aroma here, spruce, slight resin and deep citrus peel, all balanced by a chewy, nutty caramel malt. Taste is almost exactly as described in the aroma..except the deep dark lcoffee after taste that goes on for ever..nice. Nice on the palate..well balanced and not too sticky.Medium to low carbonation. Very nice winter beer here, drinkable and not cloying. Worthy does these deeper malty beers better than IPAS!

Appearance- Pours up a good amount of head that also seems to have good retention. The head is slight off-white with hints of yellow while the body is a dark amber that looks medium amber in the light. Considerable lacing has already formed.
Nose- Very subtle to almost non-existent. A little bit of citrus and a little bit of pine and resin but not much else. Swirling shows a bit more presence. Some pretty loud grapefruit and matchstick. So some presence but no real complexity.
Taste- Almost as unremarkable as the nose. Starts off with some citrus (orange and lemon) followed by a little bit of matchstick and grapefruit. Some pine and resin but not much else. Tastes a lot like a weak IPA or strong pale ale. Not bad but it's not really doing much for me at the moment. Mostly dominated by the citrus with a little bit of wood to the finish. No real linger. An above average beer with no flaws but is not unique in anyway. Doesn't show any heat.
Mouthfeel- Between light and medium bodied with some syrup to the texture. Mild carbonation.
Drinkability- Very easygoing but also pretty boring. Reasonable price but there is nothing about this beer that would make me buy it again.
Overall- Above average. Very inoffensive. I would give it a try but don't expect much. The beers I've from Worthy have been competent but none of them have been exciting.
