Pours a orange color with a two finger foam head. Lacing is sticky and keeps to the sides of the glass. The aroma is pungent and the taste is of bitter grapefruit and lemon. Overall a good drinkable beer.

Pours a beautiful, golden in color with hints of copper and some slight haze. A full, two finger thick head sits atop. Great retention and plenty of lacing as you drink. Aroma is fresh, citrus hops and a caramel malt backbone. Taste follows the aroma quite well. A mixture of buttery malts and hops on the tongue with the hops dominating over time and on the swallow. Mostly grapefruit rind and lemon peel with a hint of pine. Mouthfeel is smooth and zesty with a good amount of chewiness. Very easy to drink at 6.9% ABV. Overall, this is a fairly one-dimensional brew, but it's very solid nonetheless. It's also beautiful on the pour and quite drinkable. This is my first beer from Worthy and I'm intrigued to try out more. Cheers!

Looks like this was the 5th beer of a 6 beer flight. Pours a mixture of golden and light amber. Almost 1/2" of white head on the top, average retention going for it. Aroma hit big tree notes. This was not citrus leaning, this was tree tops through and through.
The taste, like all of Worthy ipas, is malt centric. There is a scorched caramel vibe going, then there is the generic tree bitterness after that. In a way, its nice that they got away from so much of that generic grapefruit bitterness. I'd guess the Centennial and Nugget hops do the heavy lifting here. Meridian, Crystal and Horizon I think round out the hop bill, those other ones typically are filler bittering hops. I could see myself recommending this one if someone out there was really in love with tree like ipas, like literal trees, this isn't a euphemism for marijuana dank like ipas, this isn't one of those. Its kind of typical flagship ipa stuff from an average brewery pretty much, standard fare.

Very relaxing IPA. This beer could serve as a good segway into IPAs as it is pretty mild and less bitter.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than about forty seconds. The smell started off with a burnt caramel malt and a slight toasty effect leading into some crisp citrus to piney hops. The taste was mostly sweet with a slim bitterness running into the toasty malts. Caramel to lingering citrus (bitter) hoppy aftertaste leads into a semi-dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation finishes decent as an IPA but does have a sly sweetness rolling over my mouth. Overall, for an IPA coming from the west coast, it's decent.
