Pours a foggy Orange with an eggshell head, spotty lacing.
Aroma is citrus/tropical fruit and some pine, very fragrant.
Taste is similar, a hint of spicy rye, nice malt sweetness.
Mouthfeel is about right for the style. An easy to drink beer.
Another nice one from 18th Street!

10/26/18 (Gary, IN): $5 16 oz. draft pour at Gary Brewery served in tumbler glass, dark golden pour, light thin white head quickly dissipates, light carbonation. Faint hops aroma. Balanced taste, slightly sweet and bitter, citrus and rye. Creamy mouth feel, faint carbonation, easy drinking. Overall good pour.

12oz can, date stamped 2/23/18. Hazy golden brown color with a foamy head that slowly fades. Somewhat muted aroma with some oaty malt, spicy rye, and mango perhaps. Flavor much better than aroma with the oats and rye pairing well with the tropical Jade hops; notes of mango, orangey pith, tangerine, caramely grain, spicy & earthy rye, and a hint of spearmint. Full creamy body, moderate carbonation, finishing moderately bitter and very dry. Very intriguing rye pale ale. I'm not too familiar with the Pacific Jade hops, but I like them here. I'll buy this again if I see it.

Beautiful hazy golden color with a voluminous off-white head. Nose is all citrusy fruits, primarily oranges.

The citrusy orange flavors are prominent on the taste, but there’s a nice balance with the spice of the rye. A really enjoyable APA from an excellent Indiana brewery.

12oz canned 10/24/17 poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp no ABV listed on can. The beer pours hazy, light amber in color with off white head. The head recedes to a thin ring and paper thin island with some lacing. The aroma is subtle with citrus being most prominent. The taste is spicy rye mixed with citrus and maybe a bit of evergreen. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, lightly carbonated and semi dry. The can states oats and crystal rye are used in the malt bill which add body and mild sweetness. The Pacific Jade hops are new to me and present citrus and evergreen very different from American hops. Overall, very good.

Canned 9/12/2017. Poured into pint glass. It pours a cloudy-brown-amber color with a finger of foamy, milk-white head and soapy lacing. The nose features tangerine, mango, grass, and subtle hops. It has a really tropical fruit taste with mango, tangerine, grapefruit, and resinous hops over a nice malt base. Although it's not overly hoppy it has a nice, bitter, biting taste at the finish. It is medium-bodied with pleasant carbonation, and at 5.5% ABV you can easily drink couple of 12 oz. cans. Overall, I like the balance of fruit and hops in this APA. It's 6 weeks old and I'd be interested at how it would taste when first canned. I suspect the nose would be bolder. Overall, though, this is an excellent APA. I understand why so many BA's have good things to say about 18th Street Brewery.

Can poured into a small snifter.

Orange and hazy, whispy off white head that settles into a pretty thick collar and thin cap.

Aroma is fruity, sweet, followed by herbal and spiciness most likely from the rye.

Flavor is full of fruit and citrus. Juicy, soft, some earthy flavors, herbal and a hint of something vegetal.

Soft, moderate body, medium carbonation.

Tasty brew. Lots of flavors meld together well.
