Chinook and Mosaic hops hold your tongue accountable for your worldly sins in our fiendishly vengeful session pale ale. The moment between each sip may be temporary, but feels like its own brief purgatory.

A pale ale that drinks more like an ipa. Pours a beautiful hazy orange color. The nose is a really nice citrus with floral notes, a touch of hops followed by a nice mango. This is a case where the palate is not as good as the nose. It drinks well but the nose sets a standard the palate can't follow.

Temporal Purgatory pours a darker, copper color, with a big long lasting head. Aroma is floral and hoppy. Flavor is floral and hoppy as well, crisp cereal notes, and a lighter overall flavor. Good body and feel.

L: Pours a amber orange color with a medium white head and with a few specks of lacing on the glass.

S: A mix of tropical fruit, lemon peel, grapefruit, pineapple, a bit of sweet malt. Fruity but not overly fruity.

T: A nice blast of tropical fruit, lemon peel, grapefruit, pineapple and a touch of orange, followed by some sweet malt.

F: Smooth carbonation, medium body.

O: Nothing mind blown but this is a solid pale ale.

Quite a tasty pale ale from one of my favorite Indiana breweries. No date printed on can but this one was obtained fresh directly from 18th Street. Pours a lighter amber color with lots of fluffy white head that settled into very nice looking soapy sheets of lingering lacing. Smells of muddled fruity hops – mainly pineapple, grapefruit, lemon and orange. Also some malt, vanilla, bread and lighter herbal hops. Taste follows the nose, nice balance and flavor. Definitely sessionable with a low ABV and no warming alcohol. Smooth, mild mouthfeel with a little stickiness and good carbonation. A very tasty beer.

Can from Canton St June 2020

Looks nothing like it tastes - pours amber /brownish but drinks like a new age American pale; so quaffable you will want several. Well done!

Picked this up a while ago when I was out in Indiana, as the date on the bottom of the can read 10/25/18. I had a few of these previously but I've been going through my stash in order and this was part of tonight's lineup. First brew that I've had from 18th Street and like others on here, I don't see how it was a session beer. That's not to say that it was bad, but it came across as quite basic in many of it's attributes.

The pour to this was copper, bright, and topped off with enough head as the lacing left behind was quite extensive. One soapy ring was right below the top with halves of more being right below that as the portion in the way back of my pint glass remained clear. Grapefruit and bread spice were in the nose along with some dankness from the Mosaic as the aroma was subdued, but present enough to be detected. Lingering dankness, bready malt, urine, and apricot were in the taste as the odd array of flavors quietly fit in with each other. Thankfully, none overpowered any of the others as the carbonation was light and lively at the same time.

Enough booze was in here but I only felt a bit of warming before I finished this off. No, this wasn't a new can but there wasn't any visible sediment in the liquid or at the bottom as this held up well over time. Love the label and the beer was a decent take on what an American Pale Ale should be. Easy to drink from start to finish!
