Pours a cloudy amber with a wistful head; stratospheric lacing throughout.

Smell is tangerine and grapefruit rind. Mild pine. Malty sweet and rich. Just a great tropical aroma. Smells like a double rich IPA.

Citra hoppy front with satisfying drying bitterness. Earthy hop and resinous pine. Sweet malt back that meshes well. This just borderlines par excellance.

Creamy and chewy mouthfeel. Just pure delight.

Move over west coast, ya got a contender. Wow, great impression from a local brewery. This is not just a home run, but a grandslam. I'm not even going to compare this to anything, but this beats a lot of imperials I've had. Basically I'm floored, especially the ABV suits me just fine. Would definitely buy again. 18th street-keep doing whatcha doing. (766 characters)

Surprisingly dark orange, copper brew, thick and opaque. Topped by a cream-colored head with good retention and nice enough lacing.

Citra hops leap from the aroma, leaving a juicy and sweet impression. Dry biscuit lurks in the background, and deep breaths reveals a touch of caramel. More malt comes forward as the beer warms and opens up.

Surprising amount of sweet malt immediately greets the palate, grainy caramel, followed by juicy waves of hops. Resinous, bitter, juicy; grapefruit pulp, pine, citrus peel, star fruit, peaches.

Slightly syrupy and flat (not lively) mouth feel. Light-medium body.

This is a world-class brew in all respects save mouthfeel, which I found rather lacking. However, the Citra hop profile really leaps out at you immediately, and it is well backed up by a strong malt base.

I don't normally like the moniker "Imperial Pale Ale" for DIPA strength hoppy brews, but with the malt profile presented, along with a strong but not overwhelming hop presence, it actually seems appropriate in this big beer. (1,037 characters)

Hazy golden body. Aggressive head but no lacing.

Dense tropical fruit aromas. Over ripe mango, orange, grapefruit. Light biscuit malt.

Fresh and juicy mango and orange flavor. Bitter but with a fruity sweetness. Pale malt.

Juicy and sticky mouthfeel. On the lighter side of medium body.

It's outstanding and borders IPA territory. Great citrus profile, fresh and clean. (377 characters)
