visited after DLD covid-style drive-thru pickups. it’s a fun taproom with a good atmosphere and vibe. the service was excellent. the beer selection was good - i had a lager and an imperial milk stout but they also had some hops on draft too. food was decent. i would visit again for sure when in the area.

More like a bar than most modern day breweries. Went on a super busy day during DLD weekend and the service was pretty good, the food was good, but most of the beer was just ok. A couple of their bottled stouts were good, but most of the IPA's and sours on tap were solid at best. Was cool that they had some Lambic for on-site during the weekend I was there.

10/26/18 (Gary, Indiana): Took the South Shore to the Miller stop, and the brewery is a block north, very convenient. Nice sized bar with a back room with stage for music events. Wide variety of patrons, everyone friendly (staff and locals), nice bar to relax and enjoy good food, good draft beer and an excellent whiskey/bourbon selection. Came down specifically for the Hunter Vertical series (Maple Coffee - a very good pour), and also enjoyed the IPA and Pale Ale. Food menu solid and I really enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and tots.
Several to go options, I have too much beer (hope I don't get banned from BA for that statement) but definitely want to return after clearing my current stock to grab some four packs to go. Draft and to go prices are very reasonable, especially in light of the quality of the beer.
Glad I made the trip, looking to return and also hit their Hammond location.
Cheers!

One of the best breweries in Indiana. Metal vibe. Great beers and a large selection. Food is really good too.

This is a small pub with a dining area and a bar area. Looks like someone's basement with the low ceiling and blue paint on the wall. I dig it. Reminded me of the little Mikkeller bars in Copenhagen.
You can usually catch Drew around the pub. He seems really involved with day to day stuff. Taps and food are excellent, especially the beer.
This has a nice old time local pub feel. You'll see all kinds of people here. It's a place where the locals in Gary can come sit down for beer after work. The appearance is nothing spectacular but it's a cozy place to have a beer.
To-go bottles are available. I've enjoyed my few visits here quite a bit. I can't wait to see these guys keep growing

Kinda an alt-dive vibe and an odd neighborhood. The beer selection was good and the staff was friendly, but we didn't get the chance to try the (limited) food selection.

Came for Blud. Was told they had sold out. Ok, no problem. See next day it's still for sale and come to find out they just were not able to wax all the bottles in one day. Understand wanting to sell the bottles the way the brewery intended, but please be honest with the customers.
Other than this issue I have had positive experiences at 18th St. Always a great tap selection in a cozy room. Look forward to visiting their new brewery.

This gem, located in the heart of downtown Miller (Not to be confused with Gary, Indiana, which some reviews mention) is a great place. The location is definitely weird and interesting to get to, but once you get there it will be worth it. The beer selection they had was smaller, but each beer produced here is definitely quality. Metal music played over the speakers, and it seemed as if the small crowd that was there didn't match. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Did I mention that the beer here was great?
...going back again soon.
