On tap in a 4oz tasting glass. Pours a caramel color. Palate is smoke and coffee, with toffee and spice. A prominent malt undertone runs underneath the palate. Mouthfeel is thin, almost watery. This beer would benefit tremendously from a more robust mouthfeel, as it stands, its far too thin, with an underwhelming taste. Overall: meh.

Very comparable to it's cross town cousin, Mt. Carmel 's Coffee Brown Ale. This is more a coffee taste than espresso, thin lacing, bold nose, and a very smooth finish.

Enjoyed October 2, 2015 in at Hop Yard 62 in a pint glass.
Look - Hazy amber brown. There was less than a finger of off white head. Medium bubbles. Good lacing with this.
Smell - Coffee. Caramel. Chocolate.
Taste - Espresso was strong on first drink and has faded. Caramel and chocolate. Raisin.
Feel - Lighter feel. No bite.
Overall - Lighter coffee beer that turns into a easy drinking brown all.
