Overall great beer! Smell of the hops is so strong. The taste is powerful, great look and foam holds.

This beer begins with a sweet malt tone that hints of banana, but before the sweetness reaches sickly the grapefruit and floral hops take charge. I enjoyed the ride.

Look - Very pale yellow for style. Thick white medium bubbled head. Lacing doesn't stick around long. I rate it high for being so light.
Smell - I could smell it coming out of the growler. Pine and resin. It is dank but not over powering citrus dank.
Taste - More bitter than sweet. Pine and resin. Faint grapefruit taste in finish.
Feel - Sticks to the tongue. More carbonation than expected and heavy for the alcohol content.
Overall - Not often you pick up a Mad Tree beer in growler away from Cincinnati. Different from their High beers. More bitter than citrus.
