Bottle from Whole Foods. Light amber with mall foamy head. Aroma is malty and slightly fruity. taste brings in more malts, kind of savory and a bit of hops bite. Hefty lager with a a nice fruity flavor and bitter bite. An underrepresented style for sure.

From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. After dinner. Nutty, creamy and thick bodied. Just the adequate nuttyness to be very noticeable without cloying. The best in the style ive ever taken. Very foamy, requiring 2 pours

On tap at the source.
Here's another one of those beers that won't see good scores on here because of the style. Fir the style, I can't recall a beer better. Highly recommended on tap. As one who gravitates to the higher ABV beers and Beer Advocate bold flavor bombs, St Florian does the low ABV and less popular styles best. This was a standout n the eight beer flight I had yesterday.

Appearance: Clear golden apricot with some dark orange/red & copper tones, egg whipped head with good retention and decent lacing.
Nose: Some malt, and nut. A very light nose.
Taste: Nutty with sweet malt.
Notes: Not a whole lot going on here. Got my job at Diebold today. Nina made a really nice dinner. Up north we go!

Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at his tasting.
Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, earth, and nut aromas. Taste is much the same with sweet toast and nut flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid toast and nut aspects all around.
Serving type: bottle.

Pours a rude red colour, clear. Head is off-white, clingy spiderwebs of lace. Nice enough.
Smells a bit sour, a bit spicy. Cloves, with red apple, raisins and some grains of paradise. Candied. Not bad.
Taste is maltier, sweeter. Somewhat metallic but loads of toffee, touch of popcorn, slight whisper of pie spice and some light rye bread. Sweet, bit monotonous but ultimately quite pleasant.
Quite full, quite smooth. A little empty at the back.
Nice enough, but not really a lot going on here. Plain, fairly straight-laced malty brew.
