There are many great shops in the Grand Rapids area. However, I haven't found one that tops the selection or service from Siciliano's Market.
As far as quality and service, it's great. Most (if not all) of the employees are homebrewers, are willing to help you find items, answer questions, and are generally interested in what you're brewing. In my experience all of the employees have a pretty good working knowledge of their stock and where things are located. The owner is often in the store, and always seems to be very peasant.
The only reason I don't rate the selection a "5" is because it's next to impossible to have "everything" available in the GR market. While most of the "hard to find" beers can be found at Siciliano's, I have found some they don't carry, but that's extremely rare.
Their prices are pretty good compared to the competition. What I really like is that every pack is priced, as is every single bottle. There's no guesswork as to how much a mix-pack is going to end up costing you.
Overall, I definitely recommend Siciliano's whether you're looking for commercial beers or homebrewing supplies and ingredients.
FWIW, they put on a great homebrew dinner/competition in the Spring. It's a great way to get some honest feedback on your homebrew from some pretty knowledgable judges and the party's well worth the price of admission.

what an amazing place. Pretty much perfect. I suppose if I've got one minor gripe it's that they've really crammed so much in there that it was tough in a few spots to squat down and look at the bottom shelf without feeling like my ass was going to knock over bottles on the shelf behind me. And I'm only slightly fat! The layout was a bit confusing and it could have had a higher % of cold beer, but I'm picking nits here. Go, you'll be glad you did.
kinda glad I DON'T live nearby; dropped $200 without trying and it could have been $600.
