You want local, national, and international beer? They got it.

Want a good selection of wine? They got it.

How about homebrew supplies, tobacco, and coffee beans? They got it.

Just an excellent store and I had the good fortune to live less than 10 minutes away from it for years. Knowledgable staff that will suggest things for you and request speciality beers, and (sadly) up until recently an excellent pizza place next door.

If you're travelling to GR for Founders or any beer event, stop by Sicilano's. Nuff said. (521 characters)

A quiet small place that at first glance looks like a small Italian delicacy shop or liquor store. One enters, however, and sees a shop chock full of organized beers with a selection that is among the best in the region...period.

Katie (I think that's her name) is young and on first glance you think you're about to speak with perhaps an ill informed college girl. WRONG! This lady is the buyer and has probably forgotten more about beer than I know. Excellent knowledge, great discussion and advice and she could not be more friendly or helpful.

The selection of beer is fantastic and you can break six packs and take what you want, something very appealing for tasting when you don't want to buy a full six pack.

This is a must go if you're any where in the area. (770 characters)

Made a point of stopping in Grand Rapids to visit Founders and to check out Siciliano's. I wanted to see if Siciliano's lived up to it's BA rating as a beer store. I was NOT disappointed. Found an absolutely great selection of beer available in singles. I would highly recommend this place and when I journey out of the one-horse town called Escanaba, for a trip to lower Michigan, I will defintely include a stop in Grand Rapids, so that I can stock up on some of the hard to find beers available at Siciliano's. (513 characters)

I was in GR this weekend to pick up my sister from college. We stopped here before the Hop Cat and was I ever impressed. The store is very humble and non-threating. If you're looking for good service, lots of beer, and great prices this is the place.

They had tea, cigars, beer and the best selection of hops I've seen in a long time. I bought some ingredients for a beer and they had the best prices I have seen. I can't recall seeing any grain over $2.00 per lb. Very impressed and will visit again, and again. (513 characters)

I had to ace this store for I sought it out off the reviews and recommends of BA. The service was great, even before I arrived I e-mailed them for there week-end hours since my visit to Grand Rapids would be brief. I went in search of Michigan micro's (Bell's, Founders ext.) and found full stock of many offerings and styles. They carry regional micro's such as Goose Island and Great Lakes. A treat for me was I found the hard, for me, to find G.L. like the Christmas and Anniversary ales. Also Belgiums and bombers from Rogue and many others. Parking is one row plaza style out front. A store well worth the visit and one i'll return to as I can. (649 characters)

Siciliano's Market is a wonderful place to find your favorite beers, spirits or wines. If you are a Home Brewer you can get your supplies here. I highly recommend stopping by here. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you are looking for something that is hard to find they probably have it or they can get it for you. I try to frequent Siciliano's weekly. They always have new Brews coming in every week. They also carry cigars and tobaccos which gives it an inviting aroma when walking into the store. (505 characters)

I love this place. After moving to Muskegon and searching the area, I was down on my hopes of a great beer store...until I found Siciliano's! I make weekly trips and the staff is great. I have spoken with the owner on multiple occassions and he is very helpful in finding what I need or seeing if he can get it. If you are through Western MI and need a beer fill up, this is the place to go! Everything from MI (a great beer state) is available. Largest selection of imports I have seen in a while. Also has hard to find items, some vintage and beers I thought I would never get my hands on. Pricing is good and with the ability to make you own six-er, what can be better? (672 characters)

Sicilianos is by far the best "beer" store I've ever frequented.

The selection is immense and will please beer, cigar, coffee, tea, and homebrew aficionados.

As for beer, they have a reliable selection from anywhere in the globe. The store is essentially divided into sections by regions. For instance, all belgians/international beers have their own shelf. There is also sections for Michigan and domestic beers.

Outside of beer, the store has quite a bit of spirits and liquors. There is also a section dedicated to exotic teas and coffee. Sicilianos also reps a full assortment of homebrew equipment/ingredients, home-fermented wine section, and another section I like to call DIY. This is stuff like make your own almond milk or grow your own mushrooms or cheese.

As for beer, it's easily best in Grand Rapids and West Michigan. Sicilianos consistently stocks rare and mainstay beers and their availability is second to none. The staff is incredibly knowledgable in making the right recommendations to seasoned beer drinkers or beginners. One thing that separates this from average liquor stores, Sicilianos marks all their beer in singles. While you can buy four/six packs, it's more targeted toward maker your six pack.

Protip for Sicilianos: First, they stock new beers on Thursday afternoon and run a blog on Friday called "New Beer Friday." Your best chance for finding whales and rarities is on Thursday afternoon. (1,434 characters)

This is the greatest homebrew store on earth. Their prices on grain beat the internet shops before shipping. The staff is very knowledgeable, each with their own expertise. Steve and Barb are great folks and set the standard for the whole crew. Great beer selection, all in singles, two walls of coolers, plus what is in back. All homebrew ingredients are very fresh. I have bought hops and yeast that were packaged that very week. All kinds of parts for homebrew and kegerator setups, fittings, kegs, tubing, gloves, bourbon barrels. Just an amazing selection of everything including a walk in humidor, coffee, wine, wine kits, spirits, kegs. This is my favorite store. Check out their website and visit if you get the chance. No trip to Grand Rapids would be complete without a visit to Sicilianos. (800 characters)

This is where I get all of my brewing supplies, and beer that no one else carries. Always a fun stop and a good way to start your brewday.

Great selection of beer/wine brewing equipment and supplies. Staff is always ready to help answer any questions that might come up and give ideas on recipe design. They really helped me stay motivated in home brewing. As, a friend gave me a carboy, an airlock and told me to go Siciliano's. Now just over a year later the experience has kept me brewing and improved it so much. (518 characters)

What do you need to know?

Just go there.

This place is my favorite go-to beer store. Friendly and informative staff, excellent selection, and reasonable prices.

Honestly, what more can you ask for?

An excellent source for the homebrewer, or someone just starting out expanding their beer horizons. Also has cigars, wine making supplies, and books.

There is no other store like it in Grand Rapids. A one stop-all you need- experience. Well, besides food. But who needs that when you have beer? (500 characters)

I have been a regular at Siciliano's Market for several years now (well, basically since I turned 21, nearly 3½ years ago). I used to live about a mile down the road at an apartment complex and go there several times a week. Now a live a little ways across town and don't get there as much as I'd like, but I'm still a regular shopper.

Siciliano's has made some marked improvements in their selection recently. An entire glass case at the front counter which used to house cigars, I believe, is now filled with glassware which had previously always been missing. The glassware selection is pretty good and the prices are fair. They are now also carrying numerous gift/sampler packs (Ommegang, a Belgian sampler of some sort, etc.) which were previously also not carried. The Belgian import section seems to be ever-growing, which is nuts because it was always huge -- easily the biggest in West Michigan and probably the biggest in the state -- but now it's just getting outrageous. The amount of Belgian specialty and high-end beers is overwhelming despite the fact that they're all essentially crammed as tightly as possible onto one shelving unit.

The rest of the beer selection is massive with very little if anything missing. Singles of everything, most of it stored on floor space, but there is plenty of beer in their singles fridges and the large walk-in cooler as well. The prices here are at highest market average, sometimes a bit lower, but usually right on par.

There is also a lot of non-beer stuff to look through and buy in the store: lots of homebrewing equipment, cigars and bulk pipe tobacco, tobacco pipes and equipment, bulk coffee, an entire liquor wall behind the counter, a decent selection of wine and mead in the back corner, non-alcoholic drinks in the cooler, beer, wine and alcohol-related books and magazines, and more.

The owner and staff are unparalleled: all very knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and helpful. They all know their stuff when it comes to beer and anything else the store has to offer. If you're from the area, make this a regular stop; if you're not from the area try to visit here if you're ever in Grand Rapids! (2,172 characters)

Siciliano's really is the destination for craft beer fans and homebrewers alike in West Michigan. I don't live near the store, but find myself making frequent trips there to pick things up, especially on "New Beer Friday." Absolutely A+ service, and the people working in the shop are all highly knowledgeable on their products, and are always willing to assist. The best selection of craft beer I've been able to find within 100 miles (plus everything can be purchased by the bottle). Really solid selection of homebrew supplies and equipment. There have only been a few instances where Siciliano's didn't have what I needed, and in those cases it was hard to find in the first place, even through a national internet homebrew retailer. Fierce advocates for the local homebrewing community, not to mention generous sponsors of local events and competitions. I can say with confidence that without Siciliano's, there is no way I would be able to enjoy homebrewing and craft beer the way I do now. West Michigan is very lucky to have a resource like this in its backyard. (1,070 characters)

This place doesn't look special due to it's size but don't let it fool you. Place is packed inside, allows singles of most if not all of its beers, and the service was great as well. The people there were well versed in the releases and breweries and very helpful. There was many beers I couldn't find in other places as well including some high end beers. This is the best store I have had the pleasure of walking into in the state of Michigan and the scores need to show accordingly. The cost was ok, maybe a little higher but I bought quite a bit and in general Michigan is a little more costly for beer than Wisconsin (not to mention I lose the bottle deposit every time). I would definitely go back again, Perfect Score! (725 characters)

Doesn't get much better than this place!!! HUGE selection and you are allowed to buy everything in singles. Most places have an "upcharge" when they break up a sixer and sell it by singles, but NOT this place ... single bottle price is the SAME as a 6-pack. Tons of great brews - Shorts, Founders, Bells, Dark Horse ... plus many other smaller Michigan breweries. Owners/workers were super cool - very friendly - very helpful ... I consider this a MUST VISIT if you are ever near Grand Rapids. (493 characters)

This is the only place to buy craft beer in Grand Rapids. There really is no point in looking anywhere else since Sicilianos has the largest selection. The staff is very friendly to the point of knowing my name soon after I started shopping there. I also brew so the store is amazing in that regard. The staff knows there beer and are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to brewing. It is always fun to walk in there to find out what new beers they have in stock. They recently expanded and took over the space next door. This allowed them to add to their homebrew supplies. (574 characters)

Went last weekend, in GR to visit some breweries/get some beer/ go to a concert (which ended up being canceled), stopped in here based on BA and was not dissapointed - loads of stuff we can't find in lansing, i bought a mixed case and some rolling tobacco - announced to the clerk that i found the place via the internet, who told the owner or whoever he was that i did and he asked where and such, and welcomed me - very cool, and quite reasonable prices indeed

seemed like a great environment, plans to come back next time i'm in GR!! (537 characters)

This place is a small slice of heaven for a beer junkie. The selection is the best I've seen in Michigan. Its like you're in a Bevmo or Binney's except with a mom & pop feel instead of sam's club feel. And the selection is probably better anyway. They also are the best source in the area for home brewers. Love this place! (323 characters)

I stopped in the store the morning after the Short's event at HopCat and boy was I impressed. There was beer stacked all over the place, shelves overflowing and a huge cooler selection. All the beers were available as singles, a practice I wish more beer stores would adopt. Both men working were friendly and very helpful. I mentioned we were heading back to Indy via Bell's and Dark Horse breweries and they suggested a stop at Arcadia. They even printed directions and a map for us to aid in our voyage.

I picked up about 2 cases of various Michigan beers and a few others I can't find down in Indiana. Lots of Short's(Cup O' Joe, PBJ, Huma, Kind Ale, Bellaire Brown, Pandemonium), Arcadia(Hopsmouth, Hoprocket, London Porter), a 4 pack of Founder's Harvest Ale (a personal favorite), and a few other various beers. If you're passing through Grand Rapids it's definitely worth stopping in even if just to admire the selection. (930 characters)

I love this store. I used to live in Grand Rapids but never knew about it. My brother first told me about it, and it's worth driving out of the way to go here. Probably the best beer store in the Grand Rapids area. It's a small convenience store, and they specialize in beer, hard liquor, tobacco, and coffee. No wonder it's referred to as the "Vice Store."

I've only been in a couple times, but every time I'm there I feel like a kid in a candy store. There are 4-5 coolers with four- and six-packs, but the real selling point is the make-your-own six packs. Oh my goodness, so many things. I can't even list them here, but here's what I got on my last trip:

Bell's Batch 8000 (2 bottles)
Great Divide Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout
Great Lakes Oktoberfest
Bell's Third Coast Old Ale
Stone Arrogant Bastard

And a few others, I can't remember. I can't say much else about the place, except that the staff is knowledgeable, the selection excellent, and the atmosphere fun. I love the feel of this little find. I can't only recommend stopping by yourself and enjoying it firsthand. I'll be there again as soon as I can. (1,118 characters)

I've been to Grand Rapids many times, but somehow this little gem has escaped me until now. I noticed the recommendations on BA and checked this place out on a recent trip to GR. Their selection is incredible and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a great selection of local areas brews. If I hadn't already loaded up my car with FFF stuff I picked up earlier on the road trip, I probably would have grabbed more local stuff to bring back with me. I have stores around me that have selections that are nearly as good as Siciliano's, but not nearly as knowledgeable about the beers they carry. Siciliiano's also appeared to have a great selection of home brew supplies, but I didn't go through that area of the store. I appreciated the way they sell everything by the bottle, so I was able to try several different beers that I might not have tried in a full six-pack. (887 characters)

Great store for a micro lover or homebrewer. The service is excellent and the staff really know their stuff. This store also has a great wine, cigar, and liquor selection. They have homebrewing books as well. Probably the best homebrew shop in Michigan. The only suggestion is finding more new beers every once in awhile b/c I have tried basically every beer they have. Maybe get rid of all the euro pils shit that never seems to move and make room for some more American micros or Belgians, but that's just my preference. (522 characters)

A highlight of my recent visit to the GR, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek , MI area. This place is nirvana for BAs. Tons of singles, bombers, sixes available to mix and match, warm or cold. All the locals, national micros, plenty of Imports. Well stocked, staffed and organized. The also have all your home brewing needs. The folks who work there were friendly, informative and enthusiastic. Just a great place to find all the Michigan brewers goodies you have been looking for. Located about 10 minutes from other great GR spots like Hop Cat and Founders. (548 characters)

This store is what every beer advocate dreams of. Their selection dwarfs that of every other store I've been in. The bulk of their bottles are american microbrews, but they have a great selection of international beers too. The best thing about this store is that they price all bottles individually so you can literally buy just the beers you want. You can make a mixed six with ANY bottles in the entire store. Or you can just as easily buy a six pack of one kind of beer. Total freedom in beer choice here. To say you can "mix sixes" doesn't even do it justice because you don't have to select any specific number of bottles.

Siciliano's other real strength is their knowledgeable staff. I stop in on a pretty regular basis, so I've gotten to know the employees fairly well. As far as I know, they all home brew and can answer any questions on that topic. (The store has an amazing variety of brewing supplies, as well.) One of their employees is also a brewer at Founders... so yeah. They know what they are talking about. And they love it when customers ask questions. They will drop whatever they are doing to help you out. (1,131 characters)

This store had a great selection to choose from. It was hard walking away having only spent $100, I felt like a kid in a puppy store (I wanted all the beer to come home with me). The staff was awsome, they even pulled me aside to show me that they had some Founder Kentucky Breakfast Stout in the back for sale. They also have a pretty good selection of brewing equiptment and their staff seem very passionate about the art of brewing. If you find yourself in Grand Rapids MI, you should stop in and check it out for yourself. (526 characters)
