You want local, national, and international beer? They got it.

Want a good selection of wine? They got it.

How about homebrew supplies, tobacco, and coffee beans? They got it.

Just an excellent store and I had the good fortune to live less than 10 minutes away from it for years. Knowledgable staff that will suggest things for you and request speciality beers, and (sadly) up until recently an excellent pizza place next door.

If you're travelling to GR for Founders or any beer event, stop by Sicilano's. Nuff said.

A quiet small place that at first glance looks like a small Italian delicacy shop or liquor store. One enters, however, and sees a shop chock full of organized beers with a selection that is among the best in the region...period.

Katie (I think that's her name) is young and on first glance you think you're about to speak with perhaps an ill informed college girl. WRONG! This lady is the buyer and has probably forgotten more about beer than I know. Excellent knowledge, great discussion and advice and she could not be more friendly or helpful.

The selection of beer is fantastic and you can break six packs and take what you want, something very appealing for tasting when you don't want to buy a full six pack.

This is a must go if you're any where in the area.

Made a point of stopping in Grand Rapids to visit Founders and to check out Siciliano's. I wanted to see if Siciliano's lived up to it's BA rating as a beer store. I was NOT disappointed. Found an absolutely great selection of beer available in singles. I would highly recommend this place and when I journey out of the one-horse town called Escanaba, for a trip to lower Michigan, I will defintely include a stop in Grand Rapids, so that I can stock up on some of the hard to find beers available at Siciliano's.

I was in GR this weekend to pick up my sister from college. We stopped here before the Hop Cat and was I ever impressed. The store is very humble and non-threating. If you're looking for good service, lots of beer, and great prices this is the place.

They had tea, cigars, beer and the best selection of hops I've seen in a long time. I bought some ingredients for a beer and they had the best prices I have seen. I can't recall seeing any grain over $2.00 per lb. Very impressed and will visit again, and again.

I had to ace this store for I sought it out off the reviews and recommends of BA. The service was great, even before I arrived I e-mailed them for there week-end hours since my visit to Grand Rapids would be brief. I went in search of Michigan micro's (Bell's, Founders ext.) and found full stock of many offerings and styles. They carry regional micro's such as Goose Island and Great Lakes. A treat for me was I found the hard, for me, to find G.L. like the Christmas and Anniversary ales. Also Belgiums and bombers from Rogue and many others. Parking is one row plaza style out front. A store well worth the visit and one i'll return to as I can.

Siciliano's Market is a wonderful place to find your favorite beers, spirits or wines. If you are a Home Brewer you can get your supplies here. I highly recommend stopping by here. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you are looking for something that is hard to find they probably have it or they can get it for you. I try to frequent Siciliano's weekly. They always have new Brews coming in every week. They also carry cigars and tobaccos which gives it an inviting aroma when walking into the store.

I love this place. After moving to Muskegon and searching the area, I was down on my hopes of a great beer store...until I found Siciliano's! I make weekly trips and the staff is great. I have spoken with the owner on multiple occassions and he is very helpful in finding what I need or seeing if he can get it. If you are through Western MI and need a beer fill up, this is the place to go! Everything from MI (a great beer state) is available. Largest selection of imports I have seen in a while. Also has hard to find items, some vintage and beers I thought I would never get my hands on. Pricing is good and with the ability to make you own six-er, what can be better?

Sicilianos is by far the best "beer" store I've ever frequented.

The selection is immense and will please beer, cigar, coffee, tea, and homebrew aficionados.

As for beer, they have a reliable selection from anywhere in the globe. The store is essentially divided into sections by regions. For instance, all belgians/international beers have their own shelf. There is also sections for Michigan and domestic beers.

Outside of beer, the store has quite a bit of spirits and liquors. There is also a section dedicated to exotic teas and coffee. Sicilianos also reps a full assortment of homebrew equipment/ingredients, home-fermented wine section, and another section I like to call DIY. This is stuff like make your own almond milk or grow your own mushrooms or cheese.

As for beer, it's easily best in Grand Rapids and West Michigan. Sicilianos consistently stocks rare and mainstay beers and their availability is second to none. The staff is incredibly knowledgable in making the right recommendations to seasoned beer drinkers or beginners. One thing that separates this from average liquor stores, Sicilianos marks all their beer in singles. While you can buy four/six packs, it's more targeted toward maker your six pack.

Protip for Sicilianos: First, they stock new beers on Thursday afternoon and run a blog on Friday called "New Beer Friday." Your best chance for finding whales and rarities is on Thursday afternoon.

This is the greatest homebrew store on earth. Their prices on grain beat the internet shops before shipping. The staff is very knowledgeable, each with their own expertise. Steve and Barb are great folks and set the standard for the whole crew. Great beer selection, all in singles, two walls of coolers, plus what is in back. All homebrew ingredients are very fresh. I have bought hops and yeast that were packaged that very week. All kinds of parts for homebrew and kegerator setups, fittings, kegs, tubing, gloves, bourbon barrels. Just an amazing selection of everything including a walk in humidor, coffee, wine, wine kits, spirits, kegs. This is my favorite store. Check out their website and visit if you get the chance. No trip to Grand Rapids would be complete without a visit to Sicilianos.

This is where I get all of my brewing supplies, and beer that no one else carries. Always a fun stop and a good way to start your brewday.

Great selection of beer/wine brewing equipment and supplies. Staff is always ready to help answer any questions that might come up and give ideas on recipe design. They really helped me stay motivated in home brewing. As, a friend gave me a carboy, an airlock and told me to go Siciliano's. Now just over a year later the experience has kept me brewing and improved it so much.

What do you need to know?

Just go there.

This place is my favorite go-to beer store. Friendly and informative staff, excellent selection, and reasonable prices.

Honestly, what more can you ask for?

An excellent source for the homebrewer, or someone just starting out expanding their beer horizons. Also has cigars, wine making supplies, and books.

There is no other store like it in Grand Rapids. A one stop-all you need- experience. Well, besides food. But who needs that when you have beer?

I have been a regular at Siciliano's Market for several years now (well, basically since I turned 21, nearly 3½ years ago). I used to live about a mile down the road at an apartment complex and go there several times a week. Now a live a little ways across town and don't get there as much as I'd like, but I'm still a regular shopper.

Siciliano's has made some marked improvements in their selection recently. An entire glass case at the front counter which used to house cigars, I believe, is now filled with glassware which had previously always been missing. The glassware selection is pretty good and the prices are fair. They are now also carrying numerous gift/sampler packs (Ommegang, a Belgian sampler of some sort, etc.) which were previously also not carried. The Belgian import section seems to be ever-growing, which is nuts because it was always huge -- easily the biggest in West Michigan and probably the biggest in the state -- but now it's just getting outrageous. The amount of Belgian specialty and high-end beers is overwhelming despite the fact that they're all essentially crammed as tightly as possible onto one shelving unit.

The rest of the beer selection is massive with very little if anything missing. Singles of everything, most of it stored on floor space, but there is plenty of beer in their singles fridges and the large walk-in cooler as well. The prices here are at highest market average, sometimes a bit lower, but usually right on par.

There is also a lot of non-beer stuff to look through and buy in the store: lots of homebrewing equipment, cigars and bulk pipe tobacco, tobacco pipes and equipment, bulk coffee, an entire liquor wall behind the counter, a decent selection of wine and mead in the back corner, non-alcoholic drinks in the cooler, beer, wine and alcohol-related books and magazines, and more.

The owner and staff are unparalleled: all very knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and helpful. They all know their stuff when it comes to beer and anything else the store has to offer. If you're from the area, make this a regular stop; if you're not from the area try to visit here if you're ever in Grand Rapids!
