This beers a bit thin in appearance and certainly presents it in feel but the color is rich. The nose is a bit stale but malty with tea leaves, barley, malt and light nuttiness.

The flavor is rather complex for a low gravity beer. I didn't get much hop profile but it certainly presents a wide array of malt character: Roasted pecan, raisin, barley, grain, touch of caramel, mint, tea leaf.

Pleasant surprise in flavor though the prickly thin feel is detracting.

Since I was drinking lighter-type brews last night on 1/10/15 while watching football. Comes in a 330ml (11.2 ounce) bottle. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a thumb-print goblet glass.

Pours a reddish-amber in color with a good 5mm/+ creamy off-white head. The aroma is pretty much like other APA's which is mostly of just malts. Now the aroma is not as strong as most other APA's though. Pretty much the same for the taste BUT finishes bitter and hoppy. Too much for my liking. Lighter to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, not a fan of this one.

Pours a clear, copper color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of hops, sweet malt, hint of pale malt, and a hint of adjunct. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of slight adjunct, strong pale malt, hint of sweet malt, and slight hops. Overall, good appearance and feel, but weak aroma, body, and blend.

Very rich red amber color and slightly cloudy. Very little head after the pour. Nothing special to note regarding the smell or the taste. Very bland almost Busch light like. The after taste did have some kick, some bite.

this would be a beer again that I wouldn't go out of my way to find or buy. Still one of the coolest labels out there.

A: Has a nice clear copper color. Good lacing, but head retention was lacking.

S: Wife said "sweet and flowery". I didn't notice that as much.

T: Doesn't do it for me. Just didn't stand out. Kind of a bitter aftertaste.

M: Mouthfeel was fine.

O: The majority of beers I sample are fine. The reason I use beer advocate is so that I know which ones I really want to buy again and which ones I can forget about. This is one I hope I never bother to buy again.

Poured out a deep copper with a big creamy almost-white head. Head retention is great aided by steady carbonation. The aroma is very mild, almost not there. It has very light pine hops notes with light bready malt. The taste is just OK, it's got a weird adjunct corn flavor (a recurring theme) and slight metallic tang on the finish. It has a fizzy body that's a little light on the palate. Hoped for more based on the appearance but it's not to be.
