Poured into some tall heavy Seas glass on 8/21/11

Clear, faded and paled amber. One finger head. Thin retention but very good lace.
Dense hop aromas. Pine and citrus - grapefruit, pineapple and such. Candied citrus. Deep, grainy malt tones. Smells a bit sweet. Tastes a bit sweet, too. Sweet grain offsets pine hops and undertones of citrus. It isn't an overly bitter beer, though. Full body with lower carbonation. Kind of slick with alcohol heat.
Pretty nice. I'd really like to try it fresh on tap sometime.
